i have roughly 200 players in the FA pool in my rosters but wen i use that roster in my dynasty i dont see all the FAs in the FA pool. why is that? is there a limit on FAs in dynasty mode??

The game prunes the lower rated free agents when you begin a new Dynasty game.

does this guide explaining how to convert season roster into dynasty in Live 05 work for 07 aswell?? i tried it but for every single FA the asking amount and contract length is at zero and the game crashes when i try to sign somebody. Please help

No way to disable it as far as I can tell.

The same method should work for NBA Live 2005. The only reason it might not work is if players in the roster update don't have contract data specified in players.dbf.

CASH_YEAR, YEARS_LONG and YEARS_LEFT. CASH_YEAR is the contract amount, YEARS_LONG is the length of the contract and YEARS_LEFT is the number of years remaining on the contract.

For players in the Free Agents, yes. Otherwise they should correspond to the team they are currently playing for.

when filling out the contract info for a FA do i enter a value in the YEARS_LONG field and leave the YEARS_LEFT field at 0?

No, YEARS_LEFT must be at least 1.
