Fatigue and other things

Postby TheBigEasy on Fri Jun 22, 2007 9:21 am

Hi guys,

after some month I have started to play Live again. I am using Andrews latest roster, have applied the primacy and fatigue fixes and have installed the official patch.

Contrary to other reports, my players fatigue way too fast. Mostly at the end of the quarter they are pretty much at the end of the bar ... I haven't found anyone mentioning that problem here, somebody got an idea why that is and how i can fix it?

After applying the patch, the CPU subs pretty frequently. Its not uncommon, that he has completely changed his lineup by the end of the quarter. Would it help to lower the CPU sub frequency slider (currently on 50)? Does the playingtime distribution in Dynasty mode play any role in this?

That PG domination problem I read about ... I have noticed that the opposing PG's lit me up for 30 points each in the first two games of my Hornets Dynasty. Is this problem fixed with the primacy fix from Andrews roster (cause I understood the readme that way) or do I need to apply some other patch for this?

I am sorry, if those questions have been answered somewhere else. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything. Any help (especially about the fatigue problem) would be greatly appreciated.

TBE

The Primacy Fix doesn't address the point guard issue per se. It can be used to restore the Primacy ratings to what I've set them to in the roster after the game recalculates them after a trade or player injury, which should mean better performance than the recalculated ratings.

Hm .. ok.

I think I have the fatigue problem under control. Just don't use Turbo that often :D. And maybe the fatigue fix in your rosters helped a bit too. The game I just played i basically used an 8 man rotation, with David West playing 48 and Peja Stojakovic playing 46 minutes. So I guess if I just watch their fatigue bars a bit, I'll be fine.

But the PG domination is still a problem. So far the opposing PG's (starting only) average 32 pts in .488 shooting against me. Thats not good :).

The Subs of the CPU are still weird. While I played only 9 man in the game, and only the starters more than 10 minutes each, the CPU had everybody given some minutes by the end of the first quarter! Is there any way to prevent this, cause its rather unrealistic ...

The Fatigue Fix is only intended for use with Dynasty games that were started with early releases (ie before I adjuted the Fatigue ratings using Jimmy's suggestions); it won't have any effect on recent releases since it will just give all the players the Fatigue ratings they currently have.

I'd suggest reducing the CPU Sub Slider to around 40-45 if the CPU is subbing too frequently.
