with the simulation engine rebuild the new AIACT patches the other gameplay fixes none of it will work/will ever work when you play using your rosters to its capabilities.
Why?
Dont take no offense to this Andrew.
82games.com click on team then a player then player stats at the top add up the shot selection charts divide by how many figures u add (some players never dunk or tip it) take that add 10 theres FG rating...www.nba.com go to player profile double 3pt rating then subtract 10. makes example...Ben Gordan a 72 FG 73 3PT 87 FT then take the strip the FSS patch do that and wow you got your self some extremly accurate %'s at end of the game
just to cover a little bit about whats wrong with your rosters, without doing that i can easily shoot over 60% in a game using any AIACT + any sliders with Ben Gordan being a 85 FG/85 3PT.
it seems to me that in your roster, you do transactions make needed players, touch up the big names and release. Look at the league example Walter Hermann.. using the same formula I used for Gordan...(Hermann bench rider and under 20 MPG shot 115 but also only played in 48 games starting only 12)
75 FG 75 3PT 78 FT
Kobe Bryant..using the same formula I used for Gordan...(Kobe shot 350 some odd 3's last year)
70 FG 58 3PT 86 FT
Making the above changes would not take away Kobe's superb abilities to slash to the hoop dunk and play D over Hermann but Hermann is clearly the better shooter. Leave all judgement aside when it comes to shooting ratings actually now looking back add 20 (not 10 to everyone) to FG so Kobe can still be the precious Outside Scorer, if the stats dont indicate an in game ability so what? Either edit the game to make the "SHOOTER" role go by a 70 FG 70 3PT or just go with the actual stats instead of going with your judgment.
And if you dont want to take all this into consideration, release your rosters under the Creative Commons or Open Source or something so if someone (cough ME) would like to release a more realistic product they can....afterall what ever is better for the community right?
