Quick question about reinstalling the game

Postby redeemer021 on Sat May 05, 2007 10:18 pm

I just upgraded my PC, I replaced my 2x256MB RAM to 2x512MB RAM. Now I suddenly have a crashing problem in NBA Live 07.

I ran memtest to my new RAMs and there were no errors. So I placed back my old RAMs to test Live 07. The game ran fine but when quitting to Windows, the game crashes and does not return to desktop. Also note that the same thing happen when I tried running Live with just one 512MB RAM.

So I want to reinstall the game to see if it can fix the issue. But I have a lot of things added in the game (player/shoes/arena/etc patches), I just want to ask what folders should I backup so I can restore them when I reinstall the game.

I know the sgsm folder and the NBA Live 07 folder in My Documents are the main folders to backup. Any other else?

Maybe also the "merlin" and "audio" folders, if you've added your own music...

Anything in Documents/NBA Live 07 (ie your saved games) should be left when you uninstall/reinstall, though it wouldn't hurt to make a backup all the same.
