Tuomas' Patch Thread // VC v. 1.5 ..?

Hi there some of you newer members might not remember me, last time I made patches was 2004, well I did one for 2005. But now I'm pretty excited about 07 and back in the game again. I have a couple of patches in the works already, but I'm not the most passionate worker so don't expect a patch-per-day rate like some of the other great patchers here.

i remember u anyways good job on the vc only thing i would fix is the lips they look kinda dark and of colored

it's nice to see more senior patchers coming back again to give the game a much needed lift (because ea screwed it up royally)... you still have them skeeeels Tuomas (you went by the name of Finnboy back then if i remember correctly)... a constructive criticism would be to minimize the dark spot above the upper lip of VC and what 3th said... for good source pics, just go to RyanP's thread... he released hi res pics for almost every current player, use them at your disposal...

I'm making progress but won't post any pics yet. Along with VC I'm making patches for Iverson and Chris Bosh. If anyone has pictures of Allen Iverson's newest tattoos or Chris Bosh (anything), It would be a great help.

Been lazy again, but I've been tweaking little parts of the cf and it's starts to look something. I'll edit the headshape next since the default one is a bit off, better than most years though.

It's a good patch, but the overall face looks blurry, and not very good quality. It looks like it was on a 128x128 bhed. Keep up the good lining up/ blending just try something new instead of converting an old cyberface .

Well actually the bluriness might be because of my pc, it's a laptop with not so good video card, maybe someone could take screens for me.

Haha I'm back again. I fine tuned my fixed headshape for VC today to complete the patch, I'll use it myself and release it soon. This is the final preview, so please tell what to fix if you want something to be fixed. Otherwise I'll release it shortly for those who might want it.

What's been changed :

=> Whole bhed : Face, eyes, ears
=> Redone - alpha-file to reduce shine on face
=> New fixed headshape : Tweaked face dimensions, headband position/size, whole head a bit smaller

I've also been working on Allen Iverson for a while, but since I haven't been 'obsessed' with this year's game, I ain't the fastest worker. But here it is.

What's will/has been changed

=> Whole bhed : Face, hair, facial hair, ears, eyes
=> Tweaked headshape, face, size, headband
=> New skintone

I've been tweaking the headshape a LOT. What do you think of the wider headband? Ignore the hair, I'm redoing it and it's at that state currently.

Btw, I don't seem to get full quality screenshots I guess due to my video card, so if someone wants to take screens for me, pm me. The bheds are 512x512 so they should be good quality texture-wise.

U should release VC... i like that headshape....I think AI is a litle blured and his headband 2 thick..it has the right widness dough.......

awesome work on vc Tuomas... he has that wtf? expression he always displays, you nailed it...

I added more detailed, altered the facial expression, made it real 2x detail and texturewise, tweaked the headshape even more. If some of the people that use my last one want this, I'll release it. Otherwise can't be bothered since I pretty much fixed it for the sake of my dynasty.
