new to the game..how can i dunk with the keyboard? help!

hi everyone,
i'm new to this forum, but i've been following it for a while.
i'm italian, this is the first time i'm playing 'seriously' a basketball videogame, so i'm not used to the previous nba live versions.
although i've put my keyboard settings properly, i can dunk just in the dunk practice session. during a game i can dunk just by pressing the 'e' button, but it's not like in the dunk practice session.
how can i dunk during a game? by pressing the 'e' the dunk is random and i cannot decide how to make it.
moreover, even in the practice session i can make just 4 kinds of dunk, and in the contest the pc opponent always outclass me because i lose many points doing always the same 4 dunks.
how can i set my keyboard to make good dunks and which buttons do i have to put to dunk in different ways? after trying for over a week i still dont have a clue on how to do it and i didnt find any tutorial over the internet

There is what we call a free style dunk but it will be hard if ur using a keyboard...
( check the FSS thread )
And chars have dunk packages if you want you could edit player and change thier dunk package

thanks for the reply, i didnt think it was such difficult to play with the keyboard 
i'll check that thread and see how i can do. does anyone know if in nba 06 it was the same or it was easier with the keyboard?
