Not as far as I know, and I don't think EA's patch will either.

Hmm, not as long as we don't figure out how to fix it oursleves I guess...I wrote smthg about that in another thread, I dunno if it could be helpful to anyone (maybe everyone knew that already), but I think it describes the buggy pattern to get the home shoes right at least (for the away shoes, we're screwed). Here it is:

"I figured out something about the shoes bug (at least with my PC version): for me, neither the home nor the away shoes are saved when I modify them, but I realized that the away shoes become the home shoes each time I edit the player again...
I tried with Atlanta and Boston, and Joe Johnson's new black/red/yellow Nike Elite (his away shoes) appear at home only, and the game automatically gives other away shoes. Same thing for Pierce or Telfair, their away shoes become their home shoes, and they get random away shoes. To get the correct home shoes, just assign them as away shoes... "

Nope.
Away become home, but crap becomes away...
I did it for a bunch of players last nite and that's how it seems to work. The away shoes never stay, but at least they turn into home shoes, so you can get one right out of the two...

dats gotta be big issue next to sub problem...

It really makes you wonder what the hell were they thinking when they were programming this game. It was ok last year, then all of sudden they tried to change too much and came up with a bug filled game.

so andrew...no fix for the shoe problem right...?

No word on that issue thus far.
