But ofcourse we're famous. Now EA will listen to us!! muahahahaha

Fri Oct 06, 2006 10:09 am

Wow, that's great! (Y)

Fri Oct 06, 2006 10:15 am

That's awesome! I like how the people who signed the petitions have a little background of themselves, kinda cute (lol). But!!! all we need now is this made into an in-depth article (perhaps published in the next gampro issue?) with one of the board member's picture with it. Oh yeah, make sure the member has his arms crossed and is looking upset while looking into the camera.

Well, exposure cannot hurt, might help to speed up the patching process (if it's ever been considered by EA a least).

Fri Oct 06, 2006 10:21 am

Kudos to Ben. It's working, and the media is starting to catch onto it. It's only a matter of time until EA has to at least respond, otherwise it loses all credibility (it already has in our eyes, but at least the credibility to the masses).

OMG

Funniest. Post. Ever.

Not because of the picture's appearance... thats one badass dude. Put that picture among a bunch of skinny guys doing the exact same pose.

Ill be bringing this up tomorrow at work!

Fri Oct 06, 2006 11:29 am

Damn. This goes straight to the heart. It's really a proof that the hardworking guys on this forums' effort has paid off!
First off, they have contacted EA, which shows EA that it isn't just us pesky costumers who care about these flaws. And also, this must surely be read by other sites and compell them to bring this to attention and maybe even get in touch with EA. Hopefully they'll realise that they cannot ignore us now... Hopefully :P

Applauds to Benji, Andrew, Donatello and the rest of the guys behind all this work. GJ

EA will get owned on slashdot. EA is just the kind of company the people over there hate.

Fri Oct 06, 2006 2:27 pm

I hope nobody hates me for submitting a story to slashdot. I dont think something like this should get ignored.
I think slashdotters will eat this shit up :)

Fri Oct 06, 2006 2:37 pm

Wow, a HUGE thanks to GamePro for publishing that.

Let's turn this into a thread where we post all the stories about this
Thanks to Andreas, this one got published: http://www.redherring.com/Article.aspx? ... mer+Revolt (warning! spoiler alerts!)
sorta spoiler alert from redherring article wrote:According to an email from EA spokesperson David Tinson late Thursday, the company did receive the letter and stands behind its product. Nonetheless, he says EA is in the process of addressing gamer concerns and will have an answer regarding a possible game patch "very soon."

also less positive but nevertheless: http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/04/ea-sp ... ediocrity/

Fri Oct 06, 2006 2:45 pm

This is pretty sweet. I like the title "EA Faces Gamer Revolt".

Fri Oct 06, 2006 2:58 pm

Lol, you gotta love the title given to David: "Community entrepreneur" ?

Fri Oct 06, 2006 3:16 pm

Asked about his future plans, Mr. Bailey said his nbalive.org site will become nbavideogames.org, set to include coverage of competing titles.

What a great name for a website

Fri Oct 06, 2006 3:40 pm

We're so Godfather-ish. This will surely bring EA to its knees.

But seriously, a great job by everyone involved. I just hope we'll get more of the same attention in the fufure. It's the only thing we can do, other than not buying the game.
