Tactical Substitution by AI

I think that there should be tactical substitution by the AI coach. Like in real life where a team may be in a tight spot and they need their best players on even if they are fatigued or maybe where a player is getting killed on the offensive end or defensive so that the coach has to make a substitution to stop that flow or either when a person is having a off night. i would really like to see that.

Before the "Any substitutions would be nice" posts come...yes, we all know about the bug in NBA Live 07 and it sucks.

I wholeheartedly agree, the same goes for players in foul trouble. In the final minute of a close game - especially an important Playoff game - clutch players are going to be in the floor even if they are on the brink of fouling out. I'd also like to see players subbed in and out for defensive purposes when teams are burning their timeouts in a final minute chess match, which would also save players from fouling out before bringing them in for the offensive play after the next timeout.

Yea but im afraid to see that this wont happen in a long time if they cant even do normal substitutions

Sounds good, Just say McGrady was destroying the guarding SF, and the team had a great defensive SG that was guarding say Bob Sura, the CPU shouldnt let that defensive power go to waste and put the better defender out of his natural position to gaurd McGrady. That would make the game a whole ot more realistic, as its too easy to have a star player go off when you have a bad opposing defensive player guarding you, and we all know that the real NBA doesn't work like that.

Dynamic defensive matchups would be great. Also, considering the times I was able to get top players in foul trouble during the Playoffs of my NBA Live 06 Dynasty it'd be a nice touch if the CPU did more to protect their top players from foul trouble, switching them off a player who's shooting a lot and drawing fouls effectively and assign someone who can afford to give up a couple of fouls.
