Those look like two completely different patches, EA's lighting is pretty messed up. Try fixing the player specific lightning, check the sweat patch thread for more info.

ea have seriously got to fix things up for this game.....the lighting version has generic create a player face. the non lighting version pic is great though.

You guys keep saying EA messed up, but they didn't. The CF files are different this year. They each have alphas which control the lighting on the face. klay, try going to Individual Practice and then looking at the CF in Edit Player -- it should look like your patch, but the lighting will still be off until people learn how to patch CFs properly for Live 07. Until then, stop blaming EA. You'd think if it was their fault, the default CFs would have the same problem, no?

Actually, this is one thing they could have prevented in the first place. It's good to go around it but weak nonetheless.

The screen with lighting on looks different cause its another Ea`s bug,sometimes the headshapes change by themselves to a ``create player`` ones.
I had the same problem with kobe,first i looked wtf whats wrong with kobes headshape but when i played one game with lakers and then looked in the edit player screen then kobe`s headshape was right again.
weird bug anyways.

Oh ok, I don't have the game yet but I was gonna say his nose and mouth are way different on the 2nd preview. That's about explains it.
