A few new bugs (sorry if they've been mentioned before):
- Is it me or does the player in the "edit" section look always very different compared to his "game" look? I mean, it was always less detailed in previous Live, and the player in-game was usually nicer looking. But this time, there doesn't seem to be any pattern, as if the textures are not consistently loaded the exact same way: most players look almost like EA's generic faces when trying to edit them, and they usually look better in-game, but sometimes it's the other way around (D. Marshall looked good in the "edit" but looked crappy and generic in-game, so did Larry Hughes...). Anyone else noticed that?
- I was changing some players bodytype, cuz the #2 bodytype really looks shitty and unrealistic on some players (making their head super small), and it worked for some of them (E. Curry, K. Pittsnogle,...), but for some reason it didn't for others (Marcus Williams, Shelden Williams).
- I was editing Eddy Curry and his headband was messed up like sometimes in '06, but it was showing up fine in-game. When I went back to editing him, the headband was good again.

i think in the patition you should add thet EA will bring money back (even i copun for there online store) for people thet had the download version

Just letting you guys know ... I posted about our petition on the doubleminor.net (NHL series) and mvpmods.com (MVP Baseball series) forums. I think there'll be at least a few from each site who'll sign.

Before I purchase the game tommorow, is anyone having issues with Live 07 on regular X-Box? Or is this just a PC issue?

the bugs are reportedly on every current-gen version of the game, which inlcudes PC, XBox and PS2. They are not on Xbox360

confirming if other players also have these problems:
1. switching players during inbound doesn't work on my controller/setup/system.
2. Last Man Back - tapping the direct pass doesn't execute Last Man Back, it displays all the shortcut labels for the other players (dunk/layup/shoot/pass) and remains displayed until you tap the direct pass button again or press one of the shortcut labels. (THis should be classified a SIgnificant bug)
3. Anybody already figured out how to fix the swithced Direct Pass to Layup and Dunk labels??
4. is the Direct Pass + Pass button really mapped to the Center Position?

couple more major/minor things happened to me..
CPU was shooting free throws in the 2nd quarter with Jermaine Oneal and the ref didnt pass the ball to shooter. everyone stood for 5 minutes. i switched controllers and tried shooting it, but nothing ahppened. I had to restart, so basically it froze, even though the players were rocking back and fourth at the foul circle
Sean May has some weird white spots on his head, his hair looks light gray
Leon Powe from Celtcs secondary position is listed as PG! hes not point guard hes a PF but this is a small bug

This was a significant issue, but most of the time, it is the center who is the last man back, so direct pass + label for center works instead of last man back, though it'd be nice to get last man back back.

I don't know if this bug was mentioned but when I was in the Edit Player screen I saw some bugs in the players face (like huge lips..) and bugs with the headbands...
It's really strange because those bugs don't show up in the game itself but only in the Edit Player screen.
Edit: just noticed el badman posted about the same problem, maybe this should go into the bugs' list in the first page?
By the way, anyone has an idea how many people have signed up so far?

Actually, I use last man back pretty often during fastbreaks (offense) and in rebounding (offense and defense). It helps the user to just switch to the player nearest the basket, i don't have to mind who's there, if it's the center, guard, etc.
The manual says tapping the the Direct pass button executes the Last Man Back button since they've removed the Last Man Back button on this year's release. For us, Last Man Back button users, this is a major blow, hope this can be considered a Significant Bug.

Count me in. EB games already has my $10 deposit, but it's too easy to get that back or use it on a game worth the money. Besides that theyre making us all wait down here (Aus/NZ) until the 12th of this month which has given us all alot of time to get the low down on how bug and glitch ridden this release really is.
On top of all the bullshit about the flaws and what not I've been reading in here, I've now seen first hand how bad this game can get at a friends house. He spent top dollar getting one of his family members overseas to ship it out to him due to the delay for us down here and right now he's absolutely pissed.
He's vowed to turn to that other rival NBA game that i need not mention (even if its not a PC release) as I'm sure alot of other dedicated but now unhappy, loyal from the get go EA customers have. I'd much rather stay devoted to the Live series as I have since 03, but only if EA turns around and shows us they really care about our interests.

1) In three occasions after a goal-foul play, the basket didn't count but the player went for just one free throw.
2) Two times a player of my team got injured but there was no notification. He was just substituted with no sign of what happened. I had to guess it and go back to the roster page to see it.

im having a problem with changing shoes..shoes i set for away are used for home and the away shoes are the default shoes ea assigns

ı encountered a minor bug too, while playing one and one iverson got fouled by wade and on the top it said defensive foul but the ball was checked by wade...
