It`s starting to become a competition in finding EA fails, who finds more...it`s simply getting ridicilous! We should exchange experiences in playing a game, not finding bugs, but EA sold us an "beta-version" product. I ve found many other bugs :
-when you are playing online and Your opponent is making FT YOU CAN`T pause between FT to make a subs or whatever.
-after setting up a quick play - players are standing on the wrong positions - in example You want to play fo 3 pointer and Your SG/SF is standing ON the line so the play counts as 2....
-there wasn`t a "clock ticking sound" and a horn in the end of an 2nd and 3rd quarter (i didn`t realised that quarter has ended...
)
and antoher bug - It`s very hard to steal the ball. Computer PG can stand in one place driblling for 15 seconds and You can do nothing. Everything you will achieve is a foul. You can run all around him pressing steal or using right analog and nothing. The same issue appears in online game. You just can`t steal the ball. When opponent passes the ball could even get through You and YOU CAN`T STEAL it. Another situation is when You try to pass, ball is flying straight to Your player, then turns up quickly in other direction (very unnatural trajectory, like a strong wind
) straight into the opponent hands

anyone noticed that the camera angles arent that good? i like playing center court and now im forced to use baseline or press box,,and yeah it makes the game less good looking, IMHO the details on live '05 are better than '07..im glad i didnt buy the game yet and played it at my friends house..now am sticking to my good ol '05

Thanks for doing this partition because i will certiantly not buy this game until the bugs are fixed. I may end up grabing 2k7 for my PS2 i mean its only $45AUD...

EA please fix the sub bug and the camera angles, game looks like shit, cant appreciate the details as the players are too tiny..(personally i like '05 camera angles over 06 and 07)

Oh and another thing which was present in 06. When You block a shooting player the block will not count (i ve checked it few times and always block wasn`t counted). Block counts only when You block a player who is making a layup or dunk

Ive been playing since 95 and every year ive looked forward to getting my hands on the game its not even out for another week here yet but iam really thinking about not getting it (ps2) as EA wont be able to fix the bugs.

Afew years back EA recalled Tiger woods golf(PAL) for the ps2 due to some major bug hopefully EA will have the smarts to push the release date back a week or two so they can fix this, i wont hold my breath though...

wh don't we add this to the list of issues
add prohop/backup button for the keyboard
save camera settings for online games (or use the same as in offline games/last used setting)
add difficulty setting to the training session - i want to practice on superstar not rookie or starter or all star
add press box camera to the training/practice

I refuse to buy a game that's worse than the previous year's - all these listed bugs show that this year's version is a DOWNGRADE not an UPGRADE from NBA LIVE 06;
I have not bought the game yet b/c of all these bugs and I buy NBA Live every year, since 1995, for the PC. Anyhow, I hope this gets fixed soon.

Forums like this should ban Live 08 if there's no patch. How about 17.677 people NOT buying Live 08, regardless of its quality? I don't care if you download it somewhere, just don't buy it. You paid for Live 07 which you probably only played two times because it was unplayable due to reasons beyond your control, so let's just transfer the money to 08 if there's no patch.

Hey, guys i found another NBA 07 bug... I'm playing playoffs with Suns and at the 2nd game vs Lakers, when i opened Substitions there where only 11 players After the game i cheked Reoder Rosters and there was like this:
C Stoudemire
PF Marion
....
PG Nash
6 Barbosa
7 Jones
8 House
10 Banks
...
12 Piatkovski
The 9th player is missing and i can only get 11 players to a game, but other teams on Reorder Roster has 12 players... Because of that I almost lost the game vs Lakers, because Nash has a injury and House, Barbosa and Banks, was so tired I didn't have anybody with who play...

As for me, I suggest that the great patchers of NLSC and any other site/forum should also stop making patches. Why? Because if they don't it's like letting EA do the patchers their job. I think that's what they think too, that "NLSC's patchers are there to patch the game for us." So I suggest we make a complete boycott of the game until EA listens to us, the ones who paid them our hardearned money just to get a game such as this.

and for some unknown ass reason after i did a simulation and intervened at half time when the game started it had kevin ollie as the starting point guard instaed of IVERSON WTF??!!?!?...i thought that iverson was just tired and he was subbed by the comp (obviously i was wrong since it never subs anyway lol) but when i went to the starting 5 slider at the top it still had KEVIN effing Ollie instead of iverson....games starting to piss me off and it didnt happen with just phili....i picked utah too and told deron williams to start and after i intervened a simulation it had derek fisher...EA really screwed up with this one....

I have experienced it too.I reorder rosters but always start default first 5.
And one more thing.Pau Gasol,Iverson can't dunk but Rasheed can dunk if u use (freestyle superstar) power....And his dunks r amazing but he can't dunk with just dunk key.This is a really problem....

Alright, we're on our third day of the petition, and we now have 206 signatures! At the moment, our short-term goal is to hit 300 signatures. Again, thanks to all for the support, but we're not stopping anytime soon so let your friends and other forums know about the issues and our goals to make change.
