1. I'm playing defence, and the offence player goes near basket and I switch players to my center and I wanna help the other defender defending that player who went at the basket, and my center wont block...nothing...don't wanna jump, steal, NOTHING
when you switch to help your team mate..NOTHING HAPPENS:..WTF...

EA, if your going to be the only PC NBA game makers, you better get it right or not do it at all. Thanks to the helpful feed-back of the forum members, I'm getting ready to shell out 460 bucks for a 360 and 2k7 so I can get some decent, if not flat out fantastic, b-ball action this season. You should be very dissapointed in yourselves if you have a loyal customer about to pay roughly 420 dollars more for the competition's game, because yours sucks so badly. Granted I was loyal only because you were the only basketball game for the PC, but I still bought it because it used to be good. You lied about the signature shots for current-gen, apparently your ESPN integ. isn't even what it was supposed to be on PC's. Your reputation is crumbling mighty quick. You should take a page out of Valve's book and start apologizing (like they did for the release lies about Half-Life 2), not to mention trying to write a half-ass "we screwed up and may/may not fix it" letter to Donatello, then tell him he can't post it for us all to see. If we don't buy your game, you don't make money. I'm sure you guys are going to realize this all too quick. Your not top dogs anymore. It's time to stop thinking your EA name can carry you and start releasing some quality product.

Even if just the subs issue was fixed I'd be psyched and would enjoy the game very much.

The game is unplayable now. They must fix it (subs,game crashes ,missing players and many other)!

In the grand scheme or things, this is nothing, nor does it even have a slight chance of being fixed. Let's focus on the major issues which are making the game 'unplayable' and we actually have a shot (albeit a small one) of getting a patch for.
I know this is just a minor thing. But there's lot of contact to push me away. At least call a foul.

Looks like I won't be buying an NBA Live 07 this time. Based from the members' feedbacks, looks like EA never learns.

-Direct pass position assignment not correctly mapped to gamepad. ie: dunk label appears over player, pressing the dunk button will pass to a player with the lay-up label. -
Actually that is fine with me. You press direct pass ONCE then acivate it, then press it again to de-activate it. And sometimes guys under the rim just dont dunk, but go for lay ups, so that is why you think you have the wrong button, but its the correct one.

I've been a PC fan of the series since live 2003, around the time when I first recieved an above average PC.
Each year, Live has been getting worse. A lot of my friends tried to get me to convert to 2K6, but I stayed loyal thinking that the next game would blow out the competition. Boy was I wrong.
And it's sad, because I actually DO like the gameplay of Live 07. Their accuracy with ratings were better, and they gave the star and superstar features to the right players. I enjoyed it when I was testing... Until I found the bugs of course. If they don't do anything to solve this, this will be my last NBA Live purchase.
