Re: greatest trades you have done

I have just started my first dynasty season.

The normal season game was getting to easy and so i wanted a better challenge

I chose the Hornets coz of Chris Paul, best PG in the business, and is the key to the teams success.

Got 3rd in the rookie draft and drafted Nick Young as the team needed a SG otherwise first choice would have been KD. Nick Young is a very atheletic player a future Caron Butler/ Lebron James i reckon he ws good in the season game.

Yes with trade i managed to Trade Tyson Chandler for Chris Bosh, probably helped that i managed to rack up 37 rebounds in the first 4 games, but TC passing and dunking for PF really sucks with his experience and 80 overall!! definately overated.

I would say that was a pretty rare draft. Seeing as Bosh is up in rankings with Dwight Howard, and got 24 in his first game.

Next i want KD as most people do.

Honestly it is so easy to rip off the CPU it just isnt funny. Swap an overpriced dud and 2 bench warmers for a star, easy. Swap some rapidly declining guy in his last throes of usefulness for a young stud on the rise rated just a little lower, easy.

So I normally have lots of rules to limit what trades I am allowed to perform such as one trade per year, no 2-1 trades, trade rookies only etc. This just spices the game up and makes it a much bigger challenge.

However I do remember one insane trade the computer suggested, I was playing Golden State with the latest patch, my team was bad but in the first year I had made a trade of Corey Maggette (81), Ronny Turiaf (68) and DeMarcus Nelson (66) for Jason Richardson (84). Wasn't amazing but next year the computer called me up and offered a straight swap of Chris Bosh (90) for J-Rich. So in effect this was Cat (81) and chump change for Bosh (90).

It took a couple of years while Biedrins, Anthony Randolph, Monta Ellis and Kelenna Azubuike developed but then we won 6 championships in a row. Our first championship team in 2010-11 was
C Andris Biedrins 81
PF Chris Bosh 93
SF Anthony Randolph 85 (not ideal but he was too good to have as a reserve)
SG Kelenna Azubuile 82
PG Monta Ellis 89

This was a very flexible team with the ability to move everyone up one position and play a computer player (our 6th man) Jose "JJ" Justin (79) at PG if it gave us better matchups.

the computer is pretty dumb, sometimes you can just pickup crappy free agents (low 60s) and package 3 for 1 and get a decent player (70+)

Trades initiated by the computer are usually absurd. The AI doesn't look at the players rating but the team's needs. I don't remember accepting any of it. Sometimes I demand a draft pick or another player.

I remember trading for lebron as one of the hardest. D. Howard, Iguodala and Durant were challenging trades also. Trading for Bosh was relatively easy.

I am playing with the Phoenix Suns using The NLSC 4.o Roster,
After I became Champion... I traded Vince Carter and Josh Childress to the Hawks for Joe Johnson and Jamaal Crawford...
I got two Shooter superstars...

And then kinda' bored with them... they are too good.. and I can easily win u know even i use the gameplay settings from nba live..

I then traded Ryan Anderson and Mickael Pietrus for Kirk hinrich.....

After that I traded Joe Johnson and Jamaal Crawford to the Heat for Chris Bosh and Trevor Ariza(traded to the Heat by the CPU)

and lastly... I traded Steve Nash for Gerald Wallace of the Blazers...

I also signed Tyson Chandler after being released by Dallas

My Lineup....

C - Tyson Chandler - 81
PF- Chris Bosh - 89
SF - Gerald Wallace - 83
SG - Trevor Ariza - 81
pG- Kirk Hinrich - 79

My strength is paint presence and I have a subpar outside game.....
