i make a lot of 3's online by tapping the shoot button, instead of holding it for a proper release...

Dont play on Superstar difficulty. If you bumb down to All-Star you will make alot more 3's. And you really dont have to "tap". Like in real life, 3's go in rarely. Around 35-43% for me with someone like Nash. Which isnt bad because my shot selection is off at times.
But if you are talking online play do this. Run foward then cut back to 3 point line in a 45 degree angle and the defender 90% of the time will be confused all to hell especially if you do this with someone like Jason Terry or Gilbert Arenas. Then pop the 3 on the elbow, if you are WIDE open you will be 10ximes more likely to hit the 3. I hope this helps.

If you play on allstar difficulty online the game will be a run n shoot fest bc nobody will miss a damn shot. We need a 3 point patch fix stupid EA their games keep getting worse...bring on the NBA2k7 for pc
