Hilarious. You could gather a bunch of people and write a lettler like that. Or, you could just go out and get the *good* game, and enjoy video basketball. This proves my point above about branding. People would rather be a part of the EA community than to play a great game, in the most extreme cases of lemming behavior.

3. Joystiq is so biased. everybody knows EA sports games are at least 2 times better than 2k sports games. joystiq will find any excuse whatsoever to bash EA sports.

EA stock has been in choppy water this week, opening north of $55 on Monday but slipping several percentage points in response to what one analyst referred to as “lousy reviews” for NBA Live (see EA Nabs Digital Illusions).
The stock dipped $0.24 to $54.81 in recent trading.

I didn't think it would actually happen, but it seems benji's letter is acheiving exactly what we wanted!
I just can't believe what we have achieved here. I'm so proud, lol.
But what about this - what if, next year, for NBA Live 2008, what if EA decide the PC platform wont be profitable enough with all the bad press? What if they decide to take it away from us all together? I'd rather a sub-par game than none at all...
Let's just hope 2k sports make NBA 2k8 for PC... oh boy that would be a dream come true.
