Bug Reports (ALL BUG REPORTS HERE!)

Just for kicks, I'll mention another bug I have encountered a few times. The CPU does a pro-hop, picks up his dribble stands for a second, and then takes off dribbling again. This is clearly a double dribble/traveling, yet nothing is called.

This is more a complaint than a bug:

What the heck is with that stinking cutscene that flashes a BIG NBA LIVE 07 logo in my face after I make a free throw? It's enough to give anyone an epileptic seizure. What asshole came up with that - do I really need a reminder that I'm playing Live 07? I thought the whole idea of a simulation was to eliminate all the interruptions in the game that make you realize it's a game.

I think this flashing cutscene garbage started in 05.

I dont think EA intended any of their Lives to ever be a "simulation" they have always clearly been an arcade game.

I don't know about you guys, but i cannot play dynasty mode or season mode ... when i click on a game in the calendar to play and try to play, the game crashes ???!!! ... anybody else experiencing this ?? i'd assume this would be a major problem ... i can't believe EA dropped the ball this badly on this game ... i'm inclined never to purchase an EA product ever again ...

I still can't believe that these bugs are happening. It is the first time that I became disgusted with my NBA Live PC game. I hate the subs bug and in the dynasty mode, after playing a game, I automatically exit to windows. I hope EA releases the patch as soon as possible. Or else, I'll just have to stick with Live 06 and return my newly purchased Live 07 game (I just bought it last night).

I don't know what's with all of you.My NBA Live 07 is working fine(the game only crashes to me when I go to play The Rookie Game in the main menu), and it's not even an orignal.

BTW Andrew can you add the turnover bug to the list please (blocking a shot out of bounds or tapping the ball out of bounds results in an incorrect turnover for that player).

I haven't seen it in the list, and it's not really a bug because it is wanted by EA
I think, but it is really annoying :
Almost every minute, when I pass the ball to a player near the basket,
he directly passes it to another player, also if he has a free path to the basket.
About this the ball is sometimes turned over.

I hear ya! I bitched about that a lot in Live 2005, especially pointing out how that would give someone an epileptic seizure, but obviously nobody from EA listened.

A previously unmentioned bug I believe:

If you use your MLE (Mid-Level Exception) to sign someone during the season, you won't have the MLE avaible next offseason. It will only become available again once the new season starts.

The Freethrow control, which is up then down (on keyboard contoller) changes after the 1st and 2nd quarter.

1st and 2nd Q = up then down
3rd and 4th Q = down then up

i have a quick question......

are the bugs only for PC games or other consoles too ? (ex. PS2, 360, XBOX, etc.)

I cant confirm because I dont have a PS2 or XBOX version of the game but im pretty sure the bugs are present in each and every version.

I think this means that even if EA do eventually release a patch it will only fix the PC version and the console versions will forever be pieces of shit.

I don't know if this occurs with anyone else, but in the middle of the game my FSS trigger will no longer function as such, and whenever I try a star/superstar move it will just perform a series of spin moves until I am firmly under the basket, and flamboyantly make my way out of bounds. Then a few plays later it will work normally.

This is something i test for every game by toggling between FSS types with a player who can, to see if the FSS trigger is working, without having to make myself turn the ball over.

I use a Thrustmaster Firestorm dual power gamepad. The button in question is the '5' button on the gamepad. It's in the same spot as 'L1' on a PS2 controller. It's a useful button. It could very well be a gamepad hardware malfunction, but the '5' button seems to work in all my other games. (Except for Madden for 1 or two plays in similar clutch situations)

The Proof(2 or 3 more players had the same face):

1. When CPU is free in the 3pt area, they always shoot in a sideway fade away direction.


2. When you change freestyle(Freestyle Trigger+Off-Ball Button) before the ball is checked to you on 1on1 game, the players will stop moving..

3. When CPU performs a pro-hop, they can still dribble again without being called a travelling violation (or Double Dribble in real life)..

The list sent to EA mentions the CPU sometimes dribbling for 24 sec without doing shit even though it's not the end of the game, but I wanted to add what I experienced to that:
In my last game, CPU's PG did just that 3 or 4 times overall, dribbling in and out of the paint, completely isolated by his teamates, with only me defending on him (usually PG manages to make his way to the basket even with the entire stadium against him... ), and he would get stuck under the rim when trying to shoot at the last second...

i don't know if this has been mentioned but i think the fakeout discipline slider doesn't seem to be working.

unlike last year, freestyle dribbling is affected the same way with that slider both at 0 and 100.

Ok i've found a really important bug. CPU is cheating with points!
Just look at the box scores that i've saved and count all the points. Then match them to the final result.

i played and simulated for 2-3 years and i found a bug.

I was drafting a player when i decided to look at the PDA screen, when i am about to draft a player the screen lock up. SO, it blocked my view. The back arrow of the screen is gone.

Then after the draft. i go to team roster, notice that the PDA screen still there when i click a message from the PDA it let me release the player. SO OBVIOUSLY THERE IS NO RELEASE BUTTON, NO SUB SLIDER, NO FATIGUE did someone hide it?

I've played using Lakers and San antonio spurs. It's not only some point guards like tony parker that have botomless stamina. Even kobe byrant doesn't get tired.

I have experienced another bug..

When the date was about to come to trading players during my second off-season, the game crashed and I have nothing to do but to start another dynasty again..

Shit!07 is full of bugs!!

I wish if they'll release a bug, it's worth the money that we payed for and that it will not be a large file 'cos i only have 56k connection
