NBA Live 07 Almost Ready for Submission

Here a a few suggestions:
1) Add a little time (1 second) after a shooter is fouled in the act of shooting for the goal to actually register. I've had shots roll around the rim and look like they would be good shots but the animation ends and the player shoots two foul shots.
2) Get rid of the "velcro" effect when players get stuck together for a few seconds. The player setting the pick gets stuck to the player going around the pick.
3) Add a create-a-team feature for exhibition games. Users could create all-star, championship, olympic, international, college, alumni (players from the same school, ex. Duke vs NC) teams. Allow user to select any player in the database to be on these teams. You could use the CAP to make new players and patchers could easily make more cyberfaces. Allow the importation of custom graphics (logos for the frontend and courts) like Madden Football does for endzone/field graphics. EA could designate teamIDs 60-99 as custom teams. Due to agreements with the NBA custom leagues may not be allowed.

Both should be enabled/disabled in settings like most other rules, ya know for older fans.

sorry if these have been listed, but these are the main things i want

(1)more animations for fouls, they always look the same, i dont want to see the same animation every time someone gets fouled
(2)make a practice mode just for shooting, like for shooting free throws(as said), and for shooting with a man in your face, and after you shoot let there be a pop-up that says, good release, or you released too eary(kinda like in dunk practice mode), cause some of the big men have weird shot release times and it would be good to practice with them
(3)theres an option in 2k5 that lets you pick who gets the ball the most, and whether they drive, shoot, or post up etc. when simming a game, make something similar to this, but dont make the player stats or boxscore TOTALY dependant on this(if that makes sense?)

hey guys i am new but still im pretty old in nba.About nba live 07 would anybody know when its coming out ????. What i would wish is that when they shot 3's there should be like some meter that would have red for bad release yellow for ok release and green for perfect release because then it would be easier because lets say for ben wallace he sucks at 3's so for him there should be alot of red on the meter but lets say its larry bird there should be alot of green a little yellow and very little red the i would be really nice and lets say he shots from half court then there should be alot of red and very little green because he is far back so the more far back i would say the more red on the bar

EA will dissapoint us again, i bet that they throw our 06 wishlist in the trash,
they dont care about us and our wishlist, Live 06 is more than bad game with few good fun elements like SD contest and 3pt contest,

In my opinion first what they need to drasticly improve is GAMEPLAY, the game became bored after 2 month of playing, they added new SSdunks but they left old ugly classic dunks in game-those two hand tomahawk are soo poor,Problem is that every player do the dunk on the same way,everything looks the same when players dunk,how can i explain that,Let say: Lebron make a highflyer dunk,its not important wich dunk, after that we use Kobe and maybe Vince or anybody else-The dunk is the same-looks the same and player do it on same way-THATS realy boring and awfull.,

EA needs to make those (Superstars) and better players different from each other,every better player need to have his own moves, his own style when he go jump and dunk-Every better player should have his own style of shooting,free throw style...

Same style of layups and dunks kill the game, same blocks same crossover spins- all the things are same,Live06 is far far away from reality!

EA can do the things like they want, its a fucking MONOPOL, imagine few companies like EA around, game will be much better cuz they will have to improve the game to maximum., otherwise there is just one EA and they dont care about anything (remember the last interwiev' NLSC team with EA)-question-answer is NO,and again and again., its little sarcastic but its damn true.

Admin Rights: nothing worse when you start a franchise and then a trade happens that changes teams, I really woulden't mind a franchise Admin option that allows you to trade teams according to real life trades if ya want to keep ya rosters up todate.

game high Pop ups, i'd like to see that, in the game, say if Danny Granger gets a season high in rebounds, have a stat screen go across the bottom or the anwser say, thats a season high bla bla, or when Freddie Jones gets a record 188'th three for the season... add that, thats realisim

hey add this! since they've thought of adding plays by pressing 11 22 33 or 44.. why not add more by pressing other combinations like 12 21... 41 43 etc. almost all plays can be binded if this would be implemented so gamers don't have to worry on not being able to change their offensive/defensive plays during online or direct IP games.

i dont know if my suggestions were already there or not, but stats saving patch, that is the most important feature for us online league players, and the superstar ability is often abused, like the superstar hook, there is almost no way to stop it.

dynasty mode completely sucks, i dont know if the same happens to u guys, but there are almost no trades by cpu in the whole season, and even if there was, its a 1 for 1 trade everytime, they need to improve on the cpu trade, also i noticed that in the offseason, if a cpu didnt resign its superstar, in the free agent signing period, they would resign them, in other words, other team wont sign that teams superstar free agent, also in the player bio screen, have career highs in each stats, and have the stats in each season in stats per game form instead of total stats per season

more realistic ratings for rookies in dynastymode, cuz some rookies have very unrealistic stats, like a player have 45 quickness but have 85 speed, and a point guard have 40 dribble is not realistic

i think they should also allow to create a custom team just like in madden

allow commentators to pronounce a created player's name, or at least a common name like john smith

Please get rid of the TURNOVER BUG! You shouldn't be penalized with a turnover when the ball goes out of bounds because you try to hustle for it.

Just out of curiosity, but how many of these issues on your wishlist are recycled and how many of your (or others) past wishlist suggestions have you noticed implemented into the Live franchise over the years. I ask because it seems that with all the great efforts you put into the game you care more about the quality and direction of Live than EA actually does.

I've played this franchise in all its incarnations (Vs., Showdown and Live) and graphically the game has come a far way, but as far as the extras, it just doesn’t compare to where Madden has (or at least had) gone.

-catch animations are better, but it's still nearly impossible to shoot with less than 2 or 3 seconds left. when you try to shoot, they just stand there without shooting.
-improve cutscenes/commentators and scoring at the buzzer
-allow Direct switch when inbounding the ball in all-star game.
-no subs for shooter (or anyone, period) after the second free throw... (this ain't NCAA March Madness)
-allow running the baseline after made baskets to prevent inbound stealing
-make CPU run plays more efficiently like in NCAA March Madness
-fix reaction time of the jumping when pushing the triangle/4 button... sometimes players don't jump at all, especially when there's contact with the shooter

Dynasty
-get rid of simulation intervention abuse. when you're losing, you can intervene and exit and then the game never happened. (while on that subject, if you exit any dynasty game part way through, they should sim the rest for you, wheter you intervened or not)
-allow editing of the next draft class (in hopes of ever making a patch for future draft classes)

Sound Effects & Music
-Keep the TNT announcers, no ESPN PLEASE

All-Star Weekend
-addition of skills challenge could also double as a passing/shooting/rebouding drill in a mini-camp/training camp situation

Ratings
-ratings should be modeled after the 2005 system
-99 overall rating should be near-impossible to get, so players like Lebron have room to grow
-90+ individual ratings (like in 3 point shooting should be reserved for legends. C'mon, Desagana Diop should not have the same chance of blocking a shot as Kareem or any other legends)
-stop making players who don't get much PT with low stamina to keep their overall ratings low (it's a really dumb idea)

Restore the ability for the human controlled player to set a pick when off the ball. Previous to 2006, a locked player could set a pick.

Fix the dive, in 2006 human player cannot dive.

Make superstars act like superstars. Superstars like Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant don't play like superstars now. They should be aggressive and hard to stop, and when on the computer team use their superstar abilities. When a human controlled team faces a computer controlled team, the superstars should be a real threat.

Make teams revolve their offense around high primacy players. Up to 2006, Superstars often take only a few shots.

Add the ability to save settings such as playbook to the player profile. It's a pain to have to re-adjust playbooks and other settings like locked player every game.

Add team practice mode, and team workout mode. It's hard to guage a potential draft pick's abilities if he can only be seen one on one.

The server idea is great. Not only for 5v5 play, but also to allow people to watch the games. In game demos would be great too, a demo file like Quake 4 and Counterstrike that could be played back within the game.

although no one knows how the drafts will be just record all the names into nba 07 anyway....

an irritating thing is, that when you have played a dynisty through several years the boys on the court might all be new...and then the commentator won't be able to prenounce their names....

just add the avalibilty for the commentators to say the names of all players included in NBA 07....forthcomming rookies as well as legends..

No one whats to hear the commentators saying...."nice move by nr. 23" or so...
