Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

You really have no idea what your doing. I suggest you re-read the tutorial again, do it step by step. That black and white image needs to be on the alpha channel, not on the rgb channel.

Pdub, did you include the one that doesn't feature the Team logos on the scoreboard?

No I didn't. I decided to just go with the wordmarks because I liked it better. Its still a possibility that I can do text logos, but I don't want to do any improvements onthe scoreboard yet. I'm trying to find out if I can move that damn shot clock away from the logo, that way I can make it realistic.

Hmm, I could do that. The NBA TV logo would disappear when the shotclock comes up, but I could put the momentum bar where the shot clock is. I would have to do all the logos over, too. Potentially, I can do it. I am not up to it right now.

What logos? Those team name abbreviations? I think I can help with that... :)

Yeah the team abbreviations. You would have to make the blue space where the points are, too.

2X Armbands, Arms, Armsweat, and Tattoos

Postby Patr1ck on Tue Nov 21, 2006 1:34 pm

Cloudy, the dimensions are 256x32, but you will need one of the logos from my espn scoreboard. I used the maximum available area. Its ok if you horizontally stretch it beause I can always stretch it on the scoreboard. EA limits part of the texture for some reason. Say you fill the whole canvas with a 256x32 logo, it gets cutoff in-game. Pm me or something if your still into this.

Thanks to glen10982, 2X'd Armbands, Arms, Armsweat(new and more variety), and Tattoos.

New variations of arm-sweat depending on skintone and muscle detail. I only improved the arm-lighting texture, and added sweat lines. There will be no drops or beads.
I will include a simple lighting file to enhance the visibility of the sweat, it isn't much different from the 07 default. You can use it at your leisure.
Armbands from Live 06, Tattoos from Live 06 plus double-sized 07 tattoos that weren't in 06.
For any patchers who have made tattoos, if you use this patch you will need to make your tattoos 512x512.
Sorry, I couldn't make new band textures. I could not successfully edit the bands file without causing the game to crash.

Hmm, like I told bighOrt, 512x512 seems to cause graphic glitches (textures fading from jerseys, ball,...), I realized that while making some tats and wanting to increase the resolution...Hopefully, you guys figured out a way to make it work.

If the textures are fading away when the camera is farther away, then it was because somwhere there was a "Multi-scale Bitmap". This was the problem with the 2X armbands. They would fade out as you moved farther away. It turns out that it was the arm files that were Multiscale bitmaps, which they did not need to be. I fixed it with FSHLINE, and the tattoos and textures stay visible. I also had the same problem with the 2x headbands when I first made them, they were fading out. Again, it was the multi-scale bitmap problem.

You can always use a pre-existing tat file, as long as you only edit the texture, it should work fine because it will retain its positioning/scaling info.

Pdub couldn't have said it better... we agreed that it's better that he release it so that there won't be any confusion, plus the fact that he will do a version with his sweat on it (which looks pretty awesome by the way, in your previews Pdub (Y))... the date 11/23 is the release date of my missing legend pack 2 ericisgod, you might have confused it with the 2x textures in my thread... so simply put, it is really up to Pdub when he will release the finalized textures...

2x armbands released. First page, first post, at the end.

About the faces, I recently found a way to extract all the textures from the fsh's at once, which will make the update much faster. Although, importing them back will be a bitch.

What am I working on now? Cloudy is helping me with the logos for the NBA TV scoreboard. Also I have been editing the simulation stats engine and I was able to increase the assist per game leaders in a season to 10-11 per game. It still needs tweaking because there are alot of players averaging more than 8 assists per game. I also want to increase the points per game for the star players so they are averaging more in the low to mid twenties, rather than the mid to high teens. I will try to get the scoring leaders in the high twenties and into the 30's. Should I try increasing blocks or steals? Let me know what you think about the simulated stats in your Dynasties/Seasons.
