is this really default lighting?

When I was playing with the 87 hawks I noticed the announcer would say arone mckee whenever antoine carr made a play I don't know if this was on purpose or an error.

haha i noticed that too..must be some bug in the game engine...I didnt change his speechid.

How do you guys like it so far?.....I'm not really concerend about ratings.. just the overall art and gameplay?

I use revoloution's aiact presonally..It removes the pg domination...but it has a little bug when trying to dunk up close.nothing major

awesome work as usual notorious B... i can finally see my 96 bulls duke it out against your 87 lakers in an 07 setting... im downloading it as of the moment, i'll give a feedback once i try it out...

haha, tried it and the gameplay is exciting man... here's the breakdown...

87 lakers v 96 bulls 12 min. quarters

1st qtr.
- bulls broke out with an early 18 point lead in the 1st qtr. but suffered 3 early fouls for rodman who sat down the whole 2nd qtr...

2nd qtr.
- during this period l.a. stormed back within 4 pts dominating the offensive boards and solid shooting by scott... jordan took over and answered back in the last few minutes with 5 straight shots getting back a double digit before the half...

3rd qtr.
- it started with rodman coming back in the game, but the lakers rallied back strong and took the lead with pin point passing from the magic man... the the bulls also had no answer for kareem's tall frame and dominance inside the paint, he was shooting over the bulls big men at will... at the end of the 3rd l.a. lead by 4...

4th qtr.
- the bulls stepped up their vaunted defense right from the get go of the 4th... kareem was still dominant, but his teamates were totally shut down and was missing shot after shot badly... jordan also took over completely offensively using his barrage of moves, he even did his sweet fade away j. 4x this qtr. on the faces of scott, cooper, even magic man himself on the switch... bulls took the lead and blew the game out in the final qtr., in garbage time mj did two breakaway dunks and rodman had the last shot near the 3pt line...

magic - 16 pts. 8 asts. 2 stls.
worthy -12 pts. 4 rebs.

and for the grapchics... it's pretty sweet as well, you really took your time to polish it man... from the player faces right down to the stadium ads...

Great patch 10/10 in my book, but I have one prop for the next version-all players on New York Nets outside DR. J. have 0 in 3pt shooting IMHO Bill Melchionni must have around 40-50, Brian Taylor - 50/60, Rich Jones - 36 or so and all other guys(expt Jumbo Eakins and Hughes) 20.

I wanted to limit the 3 point shooting for the 70's teams (nba had no 3 point line only used in aba)...from what i saw from stats pages at the most they would average 0.5 3 point attempts per game.This means they didnt use it much.

I noticed the orlando arena floor had purplish border on the center court logo and in the paint on one side of the court. Did anyone notice?

Yo man,I've downloaded the patch. It is great and all,but I think you've made Pippen a lot worse than he should be. I mean,ONLY star outside stopper? he was like 5 times 1st D team! and no offensive FSS? I believe he's an Outside Scorer and a Highflyer. Jordan Superstar Shooter and Power? lol,but Jorde is Jorde... How about steve Kerr for a Shooter?

The thing is I wouldn't tell you if it wasn't one of the best Smalls ever... I ain't complaining man,I'm sorry if it looks like I am...

sorry for calling you out man...but i've had several people disagree with the ratings i give since i first released the teams in '06.It's pretty impossible to come up with an accurate rating system for everyone to agree on.I even considered not giving any ratings and leave the players at 60 ...so it will be up to the end user to change them.

I only have about 5 players completed..so it's a real early preview.

Another thing is..i made john lucas #5...but in other pictures i saw him wearing #10.....I'm guessing he changed his number sometime in his career


I'm thinking of making these teams availible for season mode..but i'm not sure what i need to change in the dbf files to make this happen.If someone knows let me know

Great job but don't forget to add # 3 CRAIG EHLO to the 86 Rockets. He was the 12th man but he dunked on a dumb Celtics fan rushing the court in the final game.....
