v1.09 released...

Postby Andrew on Sun Jun 03, 2007 8:50 pm

Welcome to the official support thread for v1.09 of the NBA Live 07 Current Roster Update!

A new version (v1.09) of the current roster update for NBA Live 07 is now available to download here.

Key features of v1.09:
- 2006/2007 Playoff Rosters (accurate as of 2/06/07)
- 2006/2007 Opening Night Rosters added
- Player ratings updated for more realistic performance
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Fatigue ratings updated for better substitution patterns
- Cyberfaces for all newly added players
- Portraits for all newly added players
- Some player heights and weights corrected
- Rick Adelman added as the Houston Rockets' coach
- Jim O'Brien added as the Indiana Pacers' coach
- Deron Williams jersey number corrected in Sophomore team

Release Notes
  • Yes, I'm aware that Sam Vincent, Marc Iavaroni and Billy Donovan have been named as head coach of the Bobcats, Grizzlies and Magic respectively. As soon as face patches are contributed for those coaches, I'll add them to the roster as well. In the meantime I've added Rick Adelman and Jim O'Brien as their art was included with NBA Live 07.
  • At this stage I still intend on doing the offseason updates. At the moment I'm thinking of doing an update after the NBA Finals that will be a final 06/07 season update and then one shortly after the Draft (not immediately after!) with all the new rookies.
  • Suggestions are still welcome now and throughout the offseason. :)

I think that's about it. Hope you enjoy the pre-NBA Finals update. :)

With the adjustments I made based on Jimmy's suggestions, subs should work fine in 12 minute quarters with the CPU Substitution Frequency set to at least 50.

Thanks for answer 8-)

Well, I've tried your v1.09 and I think that it's awesome
I have a few suggestions:

1.Change L.Kleiza's (Nuggets) dunk pakage to PAKAGE 4
2.Change C.Paul dunk pakage - he can dunk. i've seen that
3.Change D.Gibson dunk pakage - he can dunk. i've seen that
4.I don't think that S.Francis deserves out.scorrer trigger... He doesn't score many points

narutoaddicted, Oh yeah?? Francis scores 11 points per game this year. There are many players who score more pts., but they don't have a scorer trigger...

Hi Andrew! How are you man? Thanx for the last update :)
I have post season suggestion:

1.C. Boozer jump is 66 but he jumping not badder than E.Curry for example, Curry have jump 75. And Boozer is offensive machine inside with 24 pts per game in PO, he deserves to be SS scorer inside and have offensive much offensive aware than, please take a look on him

2. Take a look on BDiddy fg and inside ratings please, for his height and 25 pts per game in PO they are underrated

Thanx, and have a nice summer days! :) 8-)

The Debilash™: I understand where you're coming from in regards to Steve Francis but his lack of scoring can be attributed more to his role and lack of playing time with the Knicks rather than a lack of ability.

dayan: Thanks for the kind words, glad you like the update. I'm not sure when the post-Draft roster will be available at this stage, I don't generally plan two updates in advance except that I usually release a new update every two weeks or so, but I expect it will probably be at least a couple of weeks afterwards.

Thanks for the latest suggestions guys, as usual they have been noted and I'll take another look at those players before the next release. :)

The Rick Adelman .viv file should have been installed along with NBA Live 07 since it's left over from previous games. I guess I'll have to include it in future updates to make sure there's no problems. Anyway, here's a copy of his .viv file:

1.Change Anthony's Parker dunk pakage to PAKAGE 4
2.Increase M.Gelebale (Sonics) Dunking, Speed and Quickness ratings

Hello.
Pay please attention:

Hakim Warrick
Career FT% .746 in game 66

Rudy Gay
Career FT% .727 in game 67

Dahntay Jones
Career FT% .722 in game 64

Kyle Lowry
Career FT% .893 in game 73

Al Harrington
Career FT% .711 in game 67

Tyson Chandler
Career FT% .60 in game 50

Josh Smith
Career FT% .700 in game 67

Andre Miller
Career FT% .802 in game 73

Jamaal Magloire
Career FT% .663 in game 53

Robert Horry
Career FT% .728 in game 64

Randy Foye
Career FT% .854 in game 70

Marvin Williams
Career FT% .782 in game 73

Shaun Livingston
Career FT% .710 in game 67

Marko Jaric
Career FT% .728 in game 68

Kobe Bryant(PTS-31.6, FG- 46%) the best scorer 2 years and it FG below what at Michel Redd(PTS- 26.7, FG 46%), Ray Allen (PTS-26,4, FG -43%), etc., can it is necessary to lift up to 90-92? :)

Rashard Lewis in this season types 22.4 points, 6.6rebounds with good %, and throws are worse than at Kevin Martin (20.2 – 82), Grant Hill(15 – 82), Kyle Korver(14.4 -84), Jason Terry(17 – 85) And rebound is worse than at Antoine Walker (4.3 -78), Carmelo Anthony (6.0-75), Ron Artest (6.5-70) players of its positions.

Pau Gasol throws further than 15’, its basic (main) points with average(15’-20’).

Dirk Nowitzki has won MVP, can be it improve? :) It is possible to increase clutch(CLT) and skill in attack(OFF).

sorry for my english.:)

thanks :)

Andrew wrote:Hi. Some Mate Barnes' ratings may be increased - fg, 3p, drbl(he often(second after B. Davis by time with a ball among the warriors starting five) play point and hasn't "big man" style of shooting), ft, quick, inside... He one of the best warriors players now.

Andrew wrote:Sorry, too late for v1.08 but I'll consider it for v1.09.

Hi, Andrew. Consider it for v1.10 please. I understand FG, 3P ratings are little bits underrated(70-70 would be normal - no more), but barnes's dribble is 54 - it's amazing for player who often play point. It's less than YAo and Kaman. =)

My second suggestion is Ginobili 3P rating. He is absolutely not a wide open shooter like Bell(We have to compare his percentage with players like Kobe). He creates own shot, releases over hands and shows solid percentage and 3PM :
- 2004/05 - 38% (Kobe had 34%, Pierce had 37%, Redd had 36% and others...)
- 2005/06 - 38% (Kobe had 35%, Pierce had 35%, Redd had 40%, JJ had 35% and others...)
- 2006/07 - 39% (Kobe had 34%, Pierce had 39%, Redd had 38%, JJ had 38% and others...)
Now Manu is making a unbeliveble 2,5 3pmade with 48% in the last 10 hardest and major games of season. But his 3p rating is not near Pierce's, JJ's, Kobe's or Redd's(=)... Please consider it.

PS.
I have forgotten to tell - Ginobli's 06/07 3pm per 48min(3,1) is more than other mentioned players has, cause he usualy play near just 27min in season to fire in play-offs.

ru_roll: Sorry about that, I was sure I'd updated Barnes in v1.09 but apparently not. I'll take another look at Ginobili's rating but I probably won't be changing it at this time.

Hi Andrew!
Few sugestions for your 1.10 summer roster:

Jason Terry
Season: FG 48% (16.7ppg),
Playoff: FG 42% (17ppg)
and 85 fg rating in game

Kirk Hinrich
Season: FG 44% (16.6ppg),
Playoff FG FG 37% (12ppg)
and 82 fg rating in game

Steve Nash
Season: FG 53% (18.6ppg),
Playoff FG FG 46% (18.9ppg)
and 88 fg rating in game

and now
Tony Parker
Season: FG 52% (18.6ppg),
Playoff: FG 47% (20.6ppg)
including 54%, 24.7ppg and MVP in the Finals
and he got only 80 fg rating in game

c`mon, we need some upgrade  .

Also Antawn Jamison need some rise.

Season: FG 45% 3pt 36% (19.8ppg)
Playoff: FG 47% 3pt 34% (32.0ppg)

I think it`s straight 80 in fg rating and 73-75 in 3pt rating.
He 17th in 3pt made, between Kobe & Hinrich. And he got better % that Kobe has.
2.0 3pt made average per game, between Q-Richardson (37%) & Carter (35%).

Greetz and have a nice summer! 8-)

hi andrew
i think u shouldnt follow AFERs suggestions because he is taking the carreer FT % but what u have to take, imo, is the 06/07 seasons FT %...so for example horry shouldnt have a 73FT% because this season he has 59 FT%
maybe im wrong
good luck

Parker makes a lot of lay-ups and does not shoot threes like Terry, Hinrich and Nash. So that's why he has high Fg%.
