Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

I was doing a little searching for Live 07 related news and came across this: A group called LoxWrecks is saying on their MySpace site that their song 'We Got Next' will be featured on the NBA Live 07 soundtrack:
http://myspace.com/loxwrecks. Whether this is true or not is hard to say (I would certainly not bet on it though), but I thought we could post some songs that we feel would be good on the soundtrack. So post your suggestions on songs that you think should be in the game. (Perhaps EA will even listen to us; though I would certainly not bet on that either

)

oh myspace...
NO REGGAETON!!!
especially in the opening intro movie.
the Loxwrecks song isn't that bad... they have that "chicago Bulls video intro song" looping in the background.

Yea, the song isn't too bad and all, but I'm still very sceptical about them. Doesn't seem well produced at all..
I'd like to see some songs from like DangerDoom, Little Brother, Masta Ace and maybe even another song from Fort Minor again.
Then again, I'd be happy as long as they don't include songs such as Bucky Done or even Tilted...

Glen Davis raps?
But seriously, that's pretty good (though the opening song on his myspace is better).
I'm hoping for some more NBA Live exclusive songs, i.e. specifically made for Live.
I think Papoose will have a song on there and maybe someone like Freeway again.
Screw reggaeton and black eye pease.

some UK tracks? just kidding, sorry to scare you

I'm not sure but the songs they use should be a good different mix of basketball related music, i mean its no good having a ten minute opera song in it

maybe throw in some tracks off the old jock jams cd's. I still love most of that stuff.

How about some variety for a change? Let's see something other than hip-hop or rap.

No that is what basketball is. Hip hop and Rap. Other music would sound pathetic

What are you on? Basketball's not just about Hip Hop and Rap. I play, and I don't listen to either of them.
Mon Apr 24, 2006 12:45 pm

I liked live 04's tracks... they should really include songs about Basketball and/or Nba live. Twista managed it with his uber fast rapping, why cant other fuckers do it...
Or even go chingy style and get them to change one of their mainstream songs to include basketball lyrics
Im sick of EH AH EH AH EH AH EH AH EH AH EH AH

Can't Stop Me was a good one from 04
Tue Apr 25, 2006 4:35 pm
It's all about hip-hop.
Tue Apr 25, 2006 5:16 pm
I'd like to have the national anthem in the game. It's played at the beginning of each game, right? So why not have a cutscene where we see the players line up for the ssb?
Tue Apr 25, 2006 6:28 pm
thats a great idea.
I'd prefer maybe an espn/tnt theme styled menu musics but a built-in menu music import so people could replace the music with their own preferences.
Wed Apr 26, 2006 4:55 am
Maybe they should include a little stuff for everyone.Like some rap,rock,pop...That way everybody would be happy.
Wed Apr 26, 2006 5:17 am
no way. that's the worst choice because you would have to listen to rock if you don't like it and vice versa for rap haters
Wed Apr 26, 2006 5:21 am
Well you can always disable songs in the jukebox, so the idea would work.
However the best solution I see it is to just include an mp3 browser (like madden has), where you just specify a folder on your computer and it'll run a quick scan and add all those songs in that folder to a new playlist in the game. That way everybody wins (except for the artists

)..

That'd be a great option for the PC version, but console players would be left out in the cold on that one.
