Help with ppjoy

configurations doesn't work; i downloaded ppjoy, configured joysticks, did all those stuff written in a tutorial and it doesn't avail the otion 'set custom mapping for this controller' instead it say 'modify' or da delete option, den wen i load the ini file the players don't seem to be moving or doing anything. i have clicked on the gamepad in did all those stuff. wat do i need to do...
