online help

whenever i try to play online, the majority of the time im stuck for about 5 minutes "waiting for the other player". I have high speed internet, and low ping. most of the time my opponent does as well.

What is the problem? Is this normal?

I don't play online much but in the past I've found IP to IP games can be pretty sketchy. Setting up games through EASO seems to work much better in my experience.
