Keeping the Game Entertaining

I was just wondering how you guys keep this game entertaining gameplay-wise.

For example, with my street mod, I start a playoff, but only have 1 team in the east and 1 in the west. Then I do a fantasy draft so its kinda like doing a Pickup game.

Or I make a entire roster of 30 created players then goto the .dbf's and randomize all of their ratings and dunkpacks. Then put them on 6 different teams and do a "Summer League" or w/e.

One I've been wanting to do is simulate in dynasty mode about 20 years in so no current NBA Players are in the league anymore and finish up the dynasty....it just takes too long to simulate all those years.

So, what do you do?

That last idea sounds amazing. I think someone should make a mod with completely generic teams and players. So it would be like Blitz: The League. It would be cool to play the game as if it had no NBA License.

I bet alot of us here spend time tweaking the game than playing it. :lol:

For me, i always look forward in off season of my dynasty. I love it when a superstar goes to free agent or cpu teams make drastic changes in their line-up. I also make my game interesting by inserting great players every year then letting the cpu draft it.

i have simulated 10 years in a dynasty. KG won about 6 or 7 MVP awards during those 10 years, until he finally retired.

I have done a fantasy draft before, that didnt keep me entertained for long.

I started a proper dynasty when i 1st got the game and played on 5 min qtrs and did an entire season and won the championship and have played about 25 games on the second season. it took a lot of my time

I can't use fantasy drafts because the whole fun for me is trading for a team I like, with the fantasy draft I do that without any work.
