the clutch rating, IMO, is one of the better things that were added to the game. If a person has a high clutch rating, is really good in a high intensity situation when the game is close the the end.

In previous games the clutch rating only determined a player's ability to perform under pressure, usually in the closing moments of tight games. Since it was brought back in NBA Live 07 however it is also used in conjunction with the X-Factor feature to determine which players quality as X-Factor players.
