I CANT PLAY ONLINE UNLESS I UPDATE ???????

does anyone know exactly where and what patch I need in order to ever play on line. It says I need to update my game, well my game is only a couple months old.

The official EA patch. Look on EA's website (would get you a link but I'm on my way out the door, sorry)
