Shifting Rosters - WTF?

I'm playing a season and the damned computer keeps shifting my rosters and my opponent's rosters. What the f? When I played the Cavs, they sat Ilgauskus and put in some scrub at center. Ilgauskus wasn't injured and thanks to the shit_ty substitution problem, he didn't get into the game at all.
Is there a way to stop the freaking computer from deciding to sit a starter randomly?

not that i know of.
sumtimes other player just get the start.
it happens sumtimes cause of player match-ups and things of that nature.

You can set not only the playing time of your players, but their starting time also. They are on the same screen. Click the button "start time" at the bottom right corner of the player rotation screen. Increase the starting time for your main 5 to 100% and they will start every game that they are healthy for.

it seems that the assistant coach is the one messing this up ( during dynasty i guess )

Is this for season too? (I never play franchise mode).

No I'm afraid its not in season mode.
