Complacence is an enemy to progress.

The Jazz-Hawks video really got me hyped. The collision detection looks very promising. Like someone already said before, some sliders tweaks and we'll have quite a ealistic game.

ealistic
Was that meant to be a pun?

. No, it wasn't, but it does sounds right, doesn't it

? However, I still think we're be pleasantly surprised by this game. I'd kill to get 2k7 on PCs, though.

xbox 360:
-two 5ghz corez....so its got abaout 10 ghz!
-about 12 gb of ram!
-and a graphic gard that is at the level of 8 ati radeon X1900 xt's!!!!
if you think theres such an pc out there....and you can afford it...go get it....THAN you may are able to think about playing next gen games on your pc!!!!
- The Xbox 360 has three 3.2ghz processors, not 2. And even still, the power doesn't add up, they are just used for different tasks (if I'm not mistaken). Oh yeah, there is such thing as a 5 GHz processor though...it requires liquid nitrogen to cool it (search 5 GHz project), which would raise the price of the Xbox 360 a lot more (if it had two of them, like you said).
- It also has 512mb. of GDDR3 RAM.
- I highly doubt that the graphics card is as good as eight X1900 XTs.
But anyway, I'm hoping that next-gen for PC will come out

The guys who are complaining are still gonna get the game. If you are that upset, just don't get the game and go play 2k6 or 2k7 those are okay, bt not as good as live.
And finally.......if some of you were smart enough you could see that it ISNT easy just walsing in the paint and dunking or laying it up. It harder, which IS good and an improvement. I think all they tried to show in these really small vids was exactly that! We didnt see any FSS or anything. Just the rebounding that has improved and the inside animations and the fact that you cant dunk on every possession.
It still looked pretty easy to me......

this are huuuge steps away from 06.....it looks so much more real and the dynasty is the deepest ever!....are all of the complaining about the little steps wich are done on graphics??....hell most of the TRUE live fans here don't really care about graphics if the gameplay and dynasty is fine! and this seems to be the deal this year.....!!

Please be less ignorant.
The Xbox 360 is no more than an "average" high end PC.
It has a triple core PowerPC based Xenon processor - Can't really be compared to x86 CPUs as it is virtually exclusive to the 360. But let's say that the Core 2 or even the Athlon 64s obliterated the last known PowerPC chips found on the Mac G5s and G4s. And please, 3 x 3.2 GHZ is not a 9.6 GHZ processor...
The Xbox 360 is equipt with 512 MB of 700 MHZ GDDR3 RAM. It is shared between the GPU and the CPU on a 128 bit bus. Note that today's PCs use 256 bit RAM thereby effective doubling the bandwidth. In addition, the soon to arrive GDDR4 technology will have a 512 bit bus, but that's for GPUs.
Speaking of GPUs, the 360 uses one, not 8 1900XT based processors. Much like their PC counterparts, they boast 48 unified pipelines. But the RAM it uses is shared as mentioned previously and is also 128 bit - Big difference.
So the next time you choose to channel your capricious misinformation, don't. You might just be confuted by reality.

The video's look nice to me.And we can see improvment in the gameplay. Now the guys who want "moving jerseys" and stuff go buy an xbox 360.I'm sick of this stuff like "EA lies again" or "Die EA".We requested improved gameplay and thats what we are getting and I myself love the graphics. So you guys please stop it.

^^
My question was why they dont put them in, because a friend told me that moving jerseys are in 2k6 on Xbox. I think it would be a pretty nice addition to the game

Flite_23 my post wasn't directed at you.
Its dirrected at the people who hate on EA,because of the PC graphics.
Edit:And I agree it would be a nice addition, but gameplay is much more needed.

moving jerseys are in the first ESPN game by 2k. I think that was 2004.
Moving jerseys would be a great addition, but only for cosmetic purposes. NBA street v3 had beautiful moving jerseys.
