Game crashes in All-Star!!! HELP!!!

Hi. I used to play this game a lot with the SUM mod. Now I'm trying to play it again, but I'm having problems with the All-Star 3 point shootout in the Dynasty mode. I've never had this problem before with my previous OS (Windows XP Pro SP2 UE7), but with the new one (Windows XP SP3 Corporate) is always the same, it crashes every time I try to enter the 3 point shootout. The error says:
AppName: nbalive07.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.0 ModName: nbalive07.exe
ModVer: 1.0.0.0 Offset: 00287753
Any clue?

Have you installed all updates related to SUM 07? Try playing a game without any patches installed and see if the problem occurs. NBA Live 07 is quite troublesome in that sometimes you have to reinstall it a bunch of times for it to work properly and there really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

I usually install the Mod in this order:
1) Game install
2) Patch 1.1
3) SUM v1 update
4) SUM Tatoo Fix
5) SUM v2 update
6) SUM v2.1 update
7) Save Edit Shoe Fix
8) Playmakers Plays and Sliders
9) SUM2 Roster

Here's the weird thing: everytime I install the game, it "updates" my DirectX 9.0c , copying some files in my hard drive. I have the last DirectX 9.0c (march 2009 redistributable), so this is impossible and must be some kind of mistake. Using my previous OS (Windows XP UE7) this didn't happend, and the game didn't crash at all. Any clue?

It's a possibility, but I think you'd be experiencing problems in all modes if it was a DirectX issue.

Problem solved. Here's what I did:

1) BIOS update (MSI 0.26 to 0.29)
2) NVIDIA Graphic Driver update (from 182.xx to 185.xx)
3) I'm also running the game with NOD32 off and without internet connection

The thing with DirectX 9.0c is not solved (it updates every time I install the game), but NBA Live 2007 isn't crashing anymore
