where do i put the jerseys i downloaded? i know all about how to edit madden files but this live has me stupid...

The patcher should explain how to install jerseys in a readme file since it can be different depending on the type of file.
FSH files normally go in \NBA LIVE 07\sgsm. These files 'overwrite' the original files without replacing the original. You can delete the FSH file without screwing anything up. FSH files are usually used to replace the original jersey with an updated/improved version.
VIV files normally go in \NBA LIVE 07\sgsm\uniforms. VIV files will trully overwrite an original file or allow you to add a new jersey. It's a good idea to back up your original files before adding a patch. If the uniform is a new version then you will need to modify the teamgear.dbf file. The patcher should supply you with the new line to add. This is usually done when adding an alternate or classic uniform.
