Classic Teams Project (PLAYABLE IN SEASON) -taking requests-

Fri Apr 06, 2007 3:25 am

I'm planning to make a classic teams mode playable in season. Instead of making new custom teams like this, I will just change the roster of current temas and sometimes replace a team by another (I don't think i'm going to make a grizzlies classic team, so i'll replace it by a 2nd laker team for example)

Here's the teams i'm planning to make...

'89 Bulls
'90 Jazz
'93 Knicks
'95 Hornets
'99 Lakers
'01 Bucks
'01 Raptors
'01 Blazers
'02 Mavs
'02 Wizards
'02 Kings (or '99 ?)
'04 Pistons
'04 Pacers
'04 Wolves
'04 Lakers
'05 Spurs

I'm going to need 30 teams in total to make it playable in season mode... So if you want some teams let me know (from 90's to today and maybe some 80's teams)

Early Previews...

Why don't do the 96-97 Bulls??

Fri Apr 06, 2007 5:40 am

Hey man, how come you choose the 89 Bulls over the 96-97??? The 72-10 Record, with one of the best starting lineups of all time (Longley, Rodman, Pippen, Jordan, Harper), and key reserves also (Kukoc, Kerr, etc.). Anyway I like the idea. This teams must go: the 95 Rockets (with Hakeem, Horry, Elie, Drexler, Cassell, etc...), the 92 Blazers, the 93 Suns, the 94 Magic, the 99 Knicks, the 94 Warriors (Gatling, Webber, Mullin, Spreewell, T.Hardaway), the 89 Pistons (Bad Boys), the 98 Jazz, and I'll be thinking on more teams.

You should make early 90's Cavaliers

Fri Apr 06, 2007 6:13 am

why 29 and not 30?

and you should include at least 1 celtics team.

Bayag already made a 95 Magic and is planning to make a 99 Knicks :wink:

-99 or 00 raptors with tmac and vince --> i prefer the 01 raptors... don't you remember the final conference against the sixers :o
-94 pacers --> with this one, there will be 3 pacers teams... 94, 00 and 04, isn't that too much ?
-89 cavs OK
-02 or 03 celtics --> OK for 02
-mid 80's mavs i'll think about that
-95 mavs-JJJ i'll think about that
-mid 80 nuggets OK
-86 rockets --> i think bayag made it
-the heat of the late 90's --> yeah !! 99 would be great OK
-99 rockets --> (barkley, olajuwon, pippen...) OK
-02 or 03 nets -->OK for 03
-00 blazers -->OK (because bayag said he will not convert this team from live06)
-95 spurs --> i'll think about that
-05 sonics --> i'll think about that
-97 pistons OK
- 72 76ers --> bayag will make a 67 sixer team

Like I said, bayag made those teams already........ 87 lakers, 86 celtics and 86 rockets (almost the same)... So if you want those teams, chek out bayag's thread :wink:

Plus, Olowokandi should never be included in any "classic" mod/patch/discussion of any kind.

WORST.
#1 DARFT PICK.
EVER.

Sat Apr 07, 2007 8:48 pm

you should add those Nets, good idea Fitzy,

and 86 Celtics
87 Lakers
89 Pistons

Sun Jul 08, 2007 8:24 pm

*$#Elijah#$*, have you ever released this patch?

Mon Jul 09, 2007 9:04 am

how bout 80's jazz

Mon Jul 09, 2007 9:20 am

I think the 97 or 98 jazz would be better.

Mon Jul 09, 2007 8:56 pm

I've got an idea: why don't you update the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s and u add a 2000 allstar team? It will be great

Tue Jul 10, 2007 1:47 am

do you mean playable in season or dynasty?
