2 player controller problem

hi,
Last night while playing the game w/ 2 players on the same team(same machine), this issue happens with and without player lock. I noticed one players' cursor will disappear from the game randomly. it usually can be revived by pausing and going back to the contoller options and it happened quite often in a 5min quarter game. very annoying.
btw using logitech rumblepad 2 controllers. Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue?
