I need help on getting rid of ROOkie in dynasty

so i have a problem of having coupe of players from next year's draft class in my dynasty and im using the 08 draft patch so i dont want 2 of the same players in the follwing year. i already started my dynasty and i was trying to get rid of someone like brandan wright who's been picked up by a philly through dbf editing.

anyone have any tips on exactly how to sovle this problem?

The easiest way to remove a player is to change his TEAM, ORIGTEAM and CASH_TEAM values to either 32 (Retired) or 38 (Referee).

What is the REFEREE?

Do you mean in general or in terms of NBA Live? If you mean the latter, it's the team that the referees are assigned to in the database. Assigning a player to that team will ensure he does not appear in the active rosters, effectively removing him from Dynasty Mode. If a player is assigned to team 38 (or 32) before a new Dynasty game is started, he will be pruned from the database.

Ahh, okey if you put 38 in a player database, he will be removed by the database? i thought that the player will become a referee in the game

I seem to remember that happening actually, though either way he's no longer an active player. Assigning him to team 32 would be preferable.
