You won in this case. Arenas and Butler are better than those players, and also Green has all the possiblities to improve. But dunno I think it was quite unrealistic

It is not realistic, the Wizards would never trade Arenas and Butler, but this is a good trade for your team!

Getting Butler as well makes this one a steal for the Celtics. Nice work, though as Marquis and ReMix said it's not exactly realistic. ;)

Postby whowillwin??? on Fri Feb 23, 2007 5:39 pm

can anyone suggest me any trades that i could do? to improve my team any more??? i want to get rid of wally and theo with their huge salaries, i am only 8-11M over the cap... i need a decent back up PG, i am starting delonte west as my sg...

at the mo my line up goes (Pos, Player, Rating)
C Michael Olowokandi 69
PF Al Jefferson 76
SF Caron Butler 83
SG Delonte West 75
PG Gilbert Arenas 90
--------------------------
SF Wally Szczerbiak 74
SG Gerald Green 71
SF Ryan Gomes 66
C Theo Ratliff 65
PG Rajon Rondo 64
C Kendrick Perkins 63
--------------------------
PF Leon Powe 63
SG Allan Ray 56
C James Lang 55
--------------------------

I need help with getting another PG
Maybe I should make Allan Ray my 3rd PG, but I would really want someone better than Rajon Rondo as my backup

I would move Delonte back to the Point and let him back-up Gilbert and start Gerald Green, he has outstanding upside, no sense in wasting him :? If possible, dump Theo and Wally onto a team with lots of cap I.E. Toronto/Charlotte just to get some breathing room with your cap. Then just sign a nice backup for Green outta free agents like Qyntell (sp) Woods
or whoever else possible that's fairly young & cheap.

Hey all well I have made a couple of trades now so tell me what ya think...

I first traded Wally to Charlotte for Derek Anderson (I know Charlotte won on that deal but it got me under the salary cap)

And second I traded Theo and Leon Powe (??) to Toronto for Andrea Bargnani and Uros Slokar (??)

Fair trade???

Good trade even???

Oh by the way I am playing all my games in 5 min quarters and am 5-1 or something like that

Toronto will never trade Bargnani for Theo. That is not very realistic but you won the trade man.

you could trade Olokwandi AND Telfair for Stoudemire maybe, then place Sczerbiak as PF????

I was doin a Denver (without AI) Dynasty and a real mad trade was Camby AND Martin for McGrady, then Bosh for Melo, the team comes out pretty good if that helps

i have this notion that gamers here aims for a realistic approach for playing this game. that's why i said that wally is too fragile. imagine wally against a jermaine o. or amare s. in a game. they can dunk over him for the rest of the game because of their power fss. i also noticed that he has no wally in his line up so therefore, this argument is non sense. got it? :D

Does anyone think it would be a worth while trade of trading Jefferson, Bargnani, Van Horn for Amare?

not really because you will sacrifice 2 promising young stars in bargnani and jefferson for amare. but if you want to be a title contender now it is a good trade. its your choice man.

If you are not doing this I suggest you play Antawan Jamison at SF and play Bosh PF and Nesterovic or Darius Songalia at C... You can have Jarvis Hayes back up Antawan. That should sort out your problems!
