All right, as my sig states, I am a PSP owner of Live 07. And by simply going online, I get roster updates sent straight to my machine. While I enjoy LIVE 07 for the PSP very much, it'd be awesome to get a patch that at least fixes the substition issue. How? You may ask? Using the same coding as the roster updater, the patch is sent straight to your machine. This would work mainly for the substition matter. They only sub, when tehre's like .2 secs left in the game, or if one guy gets injured, or if there's foul trouble. The patch should help the PSP version get much better. I also wouldn't mind a create/edit player. And even a Create Team. Not everyone can afford to get the ps2 and psp one to transfer files. Now,some of you guys think PSP sucks, I don't care if you think that. I'm trying to help NBA LIVE overall as a game. So, it's the logical thing to do right? This could be a petition, but I just wanna see what you guys think and maybe this could go to EA. I know I sound like one of those loser new members but I'm really here to stay, and help LIVE of course. So, what do you think? Because NHL and Madden had create player/team and were perfectly fine. Shouldn't they do the same for NBA? Screw loading times, I'm willing to wait an extra few seconds. C'mon! Help me with this. Not many people will buy the game on PSP but I like it. So, will you help in this cause?

can this even be done? roster updates can be downloaded to the memory card as a saved file, whereas the patch would have to physically change what's coded onto the disc. completely different.

Firmware can do that to the PSP. And it's basically the same coding.

But the coding is completely different from the PSP and PC version. Simply copying files from one to another wouldn't work...
Maybe some of the graphics files are in the same format and would work, but that's it.

But, I'm not trying to take the PC patch and put it into the PSP version. I'm arguing for a completely different patch, PSP exclusive.

Hmmm...sorry to bring this back up but I started an official petition online. We have one signer. This is for a completely new patch, not a PC converted one. Check it out please!

Possibly, not me, but my friend, whoI know very closely has two patched PSP games. SO it is physically possible, but yes, I'll need EA to accept it. And maybe I won't get more animations. I'm just SUGGESTING! And kobe, it's impossible for it to not happen? Then you're saying it will happen.
