i'm going to get either Live 06 or 2k6 next week. now, one of my friends have Live 06 and the other has 2k6. i decided to play both games before buying either one. i have already play 2k6, which was pretty good. tomarrow i'm gonna go to my other friends house to play LIve 06.

can anyone here tell what can i expect and can give me somes tips in playing this game so don't get my asss kicked.

after analyzing the data, further expamination and some final thoughts, i have come to a conclusion...........i will be buy 2k6. i didn't spend enough time with either to explore the depts of the games, but generally, 2k6 FEELS alot more smother than LIVE. the animations are better, alot more controlls, the graphics.............well, 2k6 faces looks identical to their real life counterparts, the body shapes perfectly and the shorts MOVES. LIVE players has big heads and little body. superstar controls gets repetitive, and it would feel and look alot better if the graphics are better. Yes, i have LIVE 2005, and its the same game. the only differents is the superstar controls, and like i said it gets repetitive, and i only play like an hour of the game. very disappointed EA. Its not funny any more, you guys are the BIGGEST game industry out there, and has 10 years of NBA game expirense, and thats how far we got? you bring the same garbage each year, thinking people will buy(and they do, stupid), because y'all got the name EAsports to back it up.

absolutely not! the game is completely different from 2k5(yes, i have that too). the graphics are the same, but there are alot more controls, and the AI is ver very smart, and i can see that in just a little while playing it.

hello, where have you been for the past 6 years, when 2k come up with a real SIMULATION style basketball. yea, LIVE is real aight, real like NBA JAM. c'mon LIVE is acarde style basketball. don't that tell you something-- SIM-real; arcade-nothing like the NBA

you probably still wouldn't belive me so let tell you what is in 2k6 that make it real: each team have they own style of offense--different play sets, taking shot ealier(suns), later(pistons). each supertar play differently--signature moves babe(kicks FSS ass). and if CPU is down 2 with a second left, we will actual see Kobe take the game winner instead of Mickie( what, i am shock, there is actually a nba game out there that do that????????). LIKE ya'll didn't know.

2004 and 2005, same game except of the All-star weeken. 2005-2006, same game except Freestyle Superstar. I dear anyone to tell me that there is actually some difference in terms of gameplay from LIVE 2004 to 06, c'mon i dear ya'll

but i have to give that to EA, they are very smart in terms of marketing. modes like allstar weeken and superstar controlls will just hype fans up.

I have nba live 2006. I think it's great.. But ppl say 2k6 is sick. But is it like the same as last year's 2k game version. I hated 2k5, i hate the way they dunk..(a small PG like SLAMMIN the rim) and the way 2 shoot. Is it really good, I might get it.. I don't know.

well, i don't know, since you love LIVE, then theys a good chance you not going to like 2k6. LIVE and 2k are completely different games, LIVE arcade(i think you like it because you can score at every position), 2k6 SIM(you have to know to play NBA basketball to win in this game). YES, its a completely different game from 2k5. PG don't dunk anymore, once in a while, but just a one hand sofe dunk.

I have Live '05 and brought '06 a couple of days ago.

If anyone says that Live '06 is exactly like '05 just ignore them and walk away.....cause they're lying and probably haven't played '06.

The feel of the game is IMO much better than '05. Last years game was choppy.....'06 is much smoother.

Now, the game isn't totally revempted. Like any game "series" ...there's a "flow" from one year to the next.

i haven't played 2k6, but nba live 06 frustrates the hell out of me. i have offensive rebounding set down to 0 for cpu, and defensive rebounding set to 100 for player and the cpu STILL gets tons of offensive rebounds and put backs.

LIVE, you're going to see earl bokins score over 30 game, and take the game winner if neccessary. all that happens is that the PG bring the ball up court and dribble dribble then shoot. yea, thats realistic.

2k, you going to see actual play calling from the CPC, where the best player on the team is the the person they look to pass it too.
