Id save money by just sticking with the 6600gt, ive got one but if you really needed a new one, id get the 7800

a 6600gt will run it maxed out.. but using the advanced display settings on a superior card to bump the Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering beyond the NBA Live settings will give smoother/crisper images.. but you have to be really graphically snobbish to appreciate the difference

dont waste money on a 7800 if you have a 6600GT. Skip the current generation of cards and wait for the next one, the one that comes out when Windows Vista is widely spread. They will have real DirectX 10 support.
