According to amazon.de, the German version of NBA Live 06 will be out on September 29th for the PS2 (and other consoles as well, most likely) and on October 6th for PC.
This means it should release a little earlier in the US, so a release date sometime around the middle of September seems feasible.

I saw the date as well in my local Future Shop, that it's supposed to come out at the end of September. I still doubt this, but if by some miracle, it does come out at the end of September, I have a feeling the game might be rushed

Amazon.co.uk list it as NBA Live 2006 not '06' for PC, so I couldn't find it.
The worst bit is: us UK people have to wait until October the 7th!

Done or not, it will most likely be Sept 26th, because that's when NBA 2K6 is coming out. Going with a later date will cost them some sales. (I'm guessing that's also the reason they've elected to release a PS2 demo)

The EA Store site currently has all the versions release dates listed as "future" for the pre-orders. You can't get more ambiguous than that.
So, I doubt any of the prevously posted release dates have any merit, although since there have been so many different dates listed, one of them may turn out to be the actual (U.S.) date. But I don't think there's any official date set in stone.

I stop by at a local Gamestop today. I asked one of the sales associates when is Live comin out and he said the 6th of this month, thats this Tuesday. Very surprised its comin out this early but very excited. So I've pre-ordered it. Can't wait.

There's an ad in the October issue of the EGM magazine for NBA Live 06 which says that the game is "coming 9/26". Listed below the date are all the consoles and the PC.

i talked with an employee at electronics boutique and he is another that says it comes out on sept. 27th
