yes, madden does have in-game saves. well it actually has so many things live doesn't have, that the only positive thing for me about live is that it's based on a sport i enjoy better.

you just said exactly what i feel.

just saw and read thru the whole thing. seems like they just listen to 25% on our wishes and still carry on with what they want. oh well we have no choice. if that was you who made the interview andrew. kudos to those very relevant questions. seems like i get a clearer view now on what to expect late this year.

one thing i noticed thouh! system requirements include the total scrapping of linux systems and my favorite win98's software. .....i have to tell this bad news to my bros. back at the folks home

all in all that interview leave me unsatisfied with EA's answer

Wed Sep 07, 2005 6:42 pm

I compiled those questions, I think I got a couple from the forum (or re-worded them after reading some posts) but they were mostly my questions.

Wed Sep 07, 2005 6:52 pm

^^^ well what did you feel after those EA guys answer them? they seem so optimistic about stuff.

i can remember an EA guy saying something like they still didn't consider in game saves, yet they are ggoing to work on it soon. what the hell? hehehe :P over all there were no major thing to look forward to except these superstar freestyle thing :|

Like I said before, I was a bit disappointed to see "No" so often, but I do like having clarification. I'm happier for having the questions answered.

LoL. C'mon now. At least they gave us something to enjoy until next-gen comes out.

I hope they come out with another PC version that's similar to the next-gen consoles.

Hey Andrew.........i read the Q+A, and after reading it, It was unclear to me if they added the MLE to the game. The MLE is a must for the game so teams over the cap can add great players to their team.

Tue Sep 13, 2005 7:46 pm

As far as I can gather, it wasn't added.

Tue Sep 13, 2005 11:25 pm

the MLE is all I wanted from this game  was that too much to ask (N)

Tue Sep 13, 2005 11:33 pm

There's no way they added that..

they had a whole bloody year to add that one thing as they said it had just been missed out on being added into Live '05 and was definitely on the list for Live '06....ahh well, guess we get a shitty All-Star Weekend that I never play

Wed Sep 14, 2005 10:52 am

the wish list is pretty pointless. they just go an add whatever they want. be nice if they actually listened to thier fans like most of the big name companies, but oh well

Wed Sep 14, 2005 1:49 pm

Maybe our next wishlist should be "For EA to add things that we actually want"

Wed Sep 14, 2005 3:13 pm

you guys said it better. seems like EA is telling us with a straight face

"you guys dont get what you want, EA get what we want and we'd still make billions of revenues!!! nerds"

BS

yeah the first item on the list should be just that.

The Hitman wrote:I'm upset about the MLE. Once again it will be difficult to sign free agents during the off-season when players are asking for max contracts.

Not necesarily. He did say they were able to fix some of the salary cap ssues, so that might include free agency type things.I wouldn't say that the MLE is a for sure no go. But you are still probably right.

Fri Sep 16, 2005 1:18 pm

The thing is, wishes have been granted before and doing the Wishlist offers us a better chance of letting EA know what we want than not doing it all. That's why I'd rather keep doing it, at least we're providing feedback.

Sat Sep 17, 2005 5:01 pm

This interview clarifies alot, and although some things aren't implemented i think this will be a good game. Since Live 2003 the game has been improving and i think that it's a positive. Soon enough we'll get more and more of ours wishes (of course by then i'll be married and my wife wont let me play :( )

Hey, if you're not happy, EA is always considering adding the feature in "next year's" version  Just like last year, and the year before, and.. the year before.

of course, they need to save some things for future versions or no one will buy them...

im looking forward to the 06 coming out even more after reading this - the new drafts and trades seem cool, in 10 seaons ive only been asked to trade like 3 times

But my point is that they never did...
