andrew, how long does it normally take for the game to come from the US?

bol.com says NBA Live 2006 is going to come out on October 6, so that'd would be the projected release date for Europe.
I don't believe them though, back in 2004 I preordered it from bol.com and I got it a month later than their release date and that was also two weeks after my friend 'got' it, so I've learned my lesson.

Not everyone is from the USA. It comes out on different dates in different places.

For what reason? The PC version never comes out before the console version and no NBA Live has ever been released that early.

From my experience in the last couple years, I'm expecting the PC version to come out in early November, so that way, I don't think anybody should have their hopes high to expect the game to be released in October..

ebgames.com is never correct. Same with Amazon.com and any other websites. I'm guessing they pretty much purposely give out earlier dates so they can get pre-orders.

I'd rather trust Gamestop or something like that...they have accurate dates there!

NBA.com has just confirmed an October release, which gives merit to all the sources reporting a date in October. As I said, it's never been released anywhere near as early as September 12th...the roster cutoff date is usually later than that for the PC version.

I still think that it'll come out in October, but I got a newsletter from EA Sports while I was at work and in it stood the upcoming releases, and Live 06 was put in September.
Either they have no idea when it's coming out, and just spreading a bunch of different ones to try to match one of them, or its actualy releasing in September...

September just seems really early, especially September 12th seeing as though the game hasn't gone gold yet. I'd personally prefer it to be released closer to the start of the new season.
