OK, this aguement about which is better will not be solve because we like different things, but if you guys want to ague that LIVE is real and 2k is not, then we have an aguement(wait they is no aguement).

PEOPLE GET THIS IN YOUR HEADS..........LIVE IS ARCADE STYLE GAMEPLAY............2K IS AND AWAYS HAS BEEN SIMULATION GAMEPLAY

AND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A NO CLUE OF WHAT IS ARCADE OR SIMULATION, THEN LET ME TELL YOU

ARCADE--DRIBBLE, DRIVE, DUNK/LAYUP/SHOOT. ITS ALL ABOUT MAKING TH BASKET. LIVE IS JUST BASKETBALL NOT THE NBA.

SIMULATION--IS TRYING TO CAPTURE HOW THE NBA PLAYERS AND TEAMS PERFORM, IF RIP HAMILTON CUT THRU SCREENS, TIM'S BANKSHOT, SHAQ'S POST DAMINANCE, THEN IT WILL BE IN 2K GAMES, BECAUSE THATS THEIR GOAL.

This is a nba LIVE forum, not nba 2k forums. I have no problem with you enjoying the 2k series more than live, people have their own opinions. HOWEVER, I DO have a problem with people that try to shove their opinions down other people's throat (ie what your doing). why cant you let people like LIVE over 2k instead of saying their a bunch of idiots or dumbasses because they do? Jae, andreas, or andrew, just lock this thread please.

i'm not agueing about opinions, if you like LIVE your opinion, if i like 2k my opinion, but what you people are agueing about, is the FACTS.

you are saying live is real, that plays like the NBA, and 2k doesn't. c'mon people we should all know by now that LIVE 10's dominance has always been arcarde style of basketball, and when 2k came out, from the day one it was a SIM.

to stop all aguements..........LIVE is better/2k is better is each person opinion, if you like arcade or sim

LIVE is arcade(just basketball)/2k is SIM(basketball in the NBA)........is a FACT(period)

and i bet(i'm not sure) that every team you play against, plays exactly the same, how boring(my opinion). in 2k6, all 30 NBA teams plays differently(FACT), not just a little bit, quite noticeble. which gives you a different expirence each game.

If you chose Halo, then let me ask you why you chose it? I mean Halo isnt real, not even close to being real, CS is a lot more realistic than Halo is, but If you chose Halo, it means you found Halo a lot more fun, or atleast more fun.. personally i wouldn't get 2K6, because it doesn't seem that fun.

the name is NBA live, if you use the name, why not use it's dept and intellegence. but it could still be fun some of you, but if you haven't play 2k, then you're "flying blind", how in the helll real is not fun, don't have to be, but you haven't play it yet, mean you can't judge. but how can you compare halo and CS with sports games. let me ask you this, which basketball game would you buy, AND 1 or NBA LIVE? if you say NBA live(which you did cause you have it), then you like playing NBA games, NBA teams, and NBA plays, but other than the name is the same verything else is completely different, then what is the point, NBA jam is basketball, and 1 is basketball.

and if Duncan have his bankshot, Carter's 360, Kobe's shoulder fakes, then wouldn't it be just FUN to see it or do it when playing the game that is name after it?

another reason why LIVE developers are lazy, the graphics suck year after year after year. knowing that 2k has better graphics still doesn't motivated them.

sooo, you do have 2k6, i don't know if you hated or not but no game is perfect, and yes, i have to admitt shaq guarding guards is really annoying, but the good out wieght the bad.

OK, now what you're saying, that arcade style basketball sucks, because shaq guarding guard is really arcade. and if you're a truely LIVE fan, you shouldn't care who shaq guards. .

and you couldn't be more wrong, before my first post, i never play LIVE 06, but after i play it, i don't have to play it long before i can recognize that its identical to live 2005. so from there on, i can make my jugdement. now, if anyone wants to ague that 06 is not the same has 2005, then let them speak now or forver hold the peace. other than superstar controls.
