Hmmm, just with graphics cards... I know i need one, just not -that- much of a gamer to justify it thus far....

Wondering what a cheap graphics card costs, as far as "bang for your buck" goes... Anyone got a favourite? Are they easy to self-install?

your system is very much okay. but that processor speed will affect your smooth gameplay. but try it dude. it will work fine (Y)

AMD processors are clocked lower than Intels but still outperform them in games so its not going to affect Live at all.

You can play Live 06 with your setup, but while you're doing that I'll be running it on the max resolution with all settings turned up high including AA and AS. :?

Anti aliasing and Antistropic filtering, more for high end PCs...Its like removing the jaggies from models, so the game looks smooth.
Basically you have the option to set AA at 2x,4x,6x and AS at 4x,8x,and 16x. Not sure what Live will let you do though.

Mon Sep 26, 2005 8:15 am

o ok well live 05 ran really smooth

Mon Sep 26, 2005 11:18 am

live04 and the higher end lives lets you mess with the AA and AS (Y)

Mon Sep 26, 2005 8:54 pm

Thu Sep 29, 2005 3:24 pm
