Numbers corrupted when imported using fshX

Mon Oct 10, 2005 11:34 am

I'm having problems making numbers for live 2006. (Here's some jerseys I made for Live 2004 BTW... forogt my password so I just made a new screenname)

For instance, I've made a 1982-83 Spurs road jersey, and I want to use the numbers from the 79-80 Spurs road jersey (they're the same except the outline of the numbers should be filled in with white).

I used fshx to export the number 0 as a bitmap, made my changes, and saved it as a 24-bit bitmap. When I imported the number back into the fsh file (sanac82a_num.fsh) it became garbage.

I know in previous versions numbers were done as indexed colors and not full 24 bit color. Is this the case in 2006 also? If so is there a tool that allows palette information to be exported and imported back into the fsh? Forgive me, as I haven't made jerseys since Live 2004.

If you want to use the same numbers, copy the .viv you want, rename the files and import your texture to the new file

I meant to say I wanted to modify the numbers from the 79-80 jersey to make numbers for the 82-83 jersey. It's the exact same font, so what I want to do is to change the numbers from being black to white.

ie, instead of these numbers:

I'd like to use these, made from the previous ones.

FshX works great for exporting/importing the jersey textures, but my numbers are completely unrecognizable after importing the edited exported number.

Oh, now I get it  Sorry.

I don't know how to do that either, but those numbers are very close if not exactly the same as any practice jersey, try one of those.

Thanks.

I was hoping to find out if anyone has figured out how to do custom numbers yet though. There are a ton of jerseys I'd like to do that have numbers without any equivalent currently in the game (for instance the Clippers jerseys from the 80s or some of the Sixers jerseys from the 70s, or the Philly jerseys from 93 or so that had the front numbers tilted at an angle) Image

Let me give jersey raptor a try.

I'm interested in what you find. I haven't figured out custom numbers yet either.

And next time edit your post
