I just noticed this!!!!

Ok,

I've had the game since it first came out, but tonight is the first time I played against Portland. Well, I'm sitting there waiting to same old boring Superstar Intro that is usually shown, but instead a get an awesome starting five intro instead! I was totally amazed by this & I've never seen it with any other teams I've played.

I have the PC version, so is there any way to make this happen for other teams? I'd rather have the team intro instead of A.I. or Kobe at mid-court trying to look all hard & stuff.

Let me know if anyone else has figured this out or seen this for other teams.....

What team were you? And please explain what the so-called starting-five intro was like.

Yeah but he said he did it playing against Portland.

Yeah.. in the seaosn or dynatsy mode, the starting five of the home team is introduced.

In season & Dynasty modes, does that happen for all teams? Is it every game? I was playing exhibition when this occurred.

I was playing as the Sixers @ Portland. I'm not sure if they have any Superstars, but the team intro was MUCH better than the normal Superstar intro I'm use seeing. Here are a few screenshots that I uploaded to image shack for everyone to see what I'm speaking of:

Maybe because both teams don't have freestyle superstars turned on, so there's no reason to play the movie but the intros? That's my suggestion.

Yeah. I think it's just random but in season and dynasty, its on for every game.

It's happened to me before, I think its just random, superstars were turned on.

For Portland Theo Ratliff is the superstar and I dont know about you, but I put him on the bench like in real at the moment so you get the starting 5 intro because they have no superstars in their lineup. I have made Randolph an inside scorer now though.

Ive only had the supertar intro once or twicr, i always get starting line up and so far ive mostly been using the magic, who have two superstars in the starting lineup, maybe it only works when you have one in the lineup.

for me every game the starting 5 are introduced and the freestlye superstar thing only happens very occasionaly. I am Denver and we've got melo, K-Mart, Lenard and they are all superstars and it has only done the freestyle thing once
