One thing I really like about this years dynasty mode is the fact that injuries can be a big factor. I just lost Jason Richardson for 11 (eleven!) weeks due to a broken bone in his foot - so my depth will be tested. Needless to say I got a little uneasy when Rashard Lewis (this is in my fantasy draft dynasty) went down in the next game, but luckily, he won't miss any games.
One thing that is somewhat related to this is a salary problem which might only be an issue in fantasy dynasties - it seems that the game "trims" the FA pool at a certain number of players. As a result, the lowest-rated FA in my dynasty is rated 65 overall, and since I am over the cap, I can't sign any of the guys available as they will not accept the minimum (which somewhat sucks, noone can tell me this guys would rather sit out a season... I like the fact the CPU does not get superstars for the minimum anymore, but the scrubs? Gimme a break). I currently only have 11 players on my team, and with Richardson out, I am down to 10. Heck, I don't even have a true backup PG, I had to convert my rookie 6'6 SG to PG so I have someone backing up Jasikevicius.
Not quite sure what the point of this post is

- just figured I'd mention some of the little good & bad things of dynasty mode this year.
