blow past the defender

hey people. I want to know how to blow past the defender after a pump fake or a crossover or behind the back or etc. i did it a few times, but i don't know what the buttons are. i.e. i do a crossover, the defender falls for it but my guard (iverson) doesn't blow right past him or the defender recovers and i just run into the defender.

Generally you just have to keep moving towards the basket. Helps if you're using turbo.

But if you gave the CPU high defensive abilities, then you'll get bounced back 75% of the time.

hold the crossover button and move towards the basket. It usually helps you blow by the guy if your player has a decent dribbling rating.
Greg Ostertag probably will have a less likely chance to blow by someone compared to Allen Iverson, for example.
