Could be that a Radeon 9600 Pro is not supported? Please help.

I doubt that it wouldn't be supported because it is a "PRO" version. You should e-mail the EA tech support and see if they have any answeres...but usually they don't.

XP 3000 with 512 RAM and Radeon 9600 Pro and NBA 06 works very good. I have driver video version 6.14.10.6517, feb 22 2005. Try to download another drivers version.

I used to get the same issue with my ati 9600xt in previous lives and games.

You can try and go to the bios at start up, and change teh agp to 4x.

You won't notice a difference but it makes the graphics card heaps more stable (Y).

1. Try to go to bios, change agp speed to maximum (usually 8x depending on the mobo manufacturer).
2. Still in the BIOS, change the graphics aperture to 256MB (video memory x 2)
3. Try to download a newer version of the video drivers (currently it's ATI Catalyst 5.9).
4. Lessen your startup programs by editing your MSCONFIG.
5. Run error-checking and defrag your hdd (do these regularly).

Hope these help! (Y)
