Transfer in the middle of season

Ok is there any chance to transfer players, no on my team but the others, controlled by cpu? I try to do it in players.dbf and change column TEAM, but it doesn' work, any idea's?

hmm...i tried doing it, and it works for me, i just edit the TEAM and ROSTERPOS...

Make sure there aren't any matching ROSTERPOS values for players on the same team. Surefire way to make the game crash.
