DB Commander not working?

Maybe i duno how to use the DB commander 2000 Pro, but it worked perfectly fine when i used it for live05 but somehow it screws up in 06.
i was tryin to edit the salary for Jalen Rose cuz its like so damn high, after i change his salary, and after i quit. i load the save but no changes. i tried doing it again and again. then somehow 9 of my players are missing i only have like 4 players left on my team lol.
good thing i backed up my players file. but can someone tell me if im doing anything wrong or am i missing soomething...
